I agree that Trump is not a conservative. But frankly I am just tired of voting for conservatives just to see them roll over and take it from the dems time after time, and then apologize for even raising the argument.

I’m ready for some pushback for once. The riff with the Pope is a perfect example. He pushed back on the Pope just like he did with that snarky Telemundo reporter early in the race.

Liberals aren’t used to that. They expect to get their way just by getting in your face. The perception is that Trump doesn’t play that game.

I don’t think I am alone in just wanting our side to hit back a little bit. IMHO the only one in the race that will do that is Trump.

And I love the spirit of this post and the woman who wrote it.  Never quite heard a woman describe herself as rock-ribbed!  LOL.  But the strength of her words proves she's a tough cookie when it comes to our country.

For months our fellow Cruzbots (God love 'em) have been telling us their candidate is the "most conservative" and "toughest fighter".  And to their credit, they've effectively beat that meme into our subconscious.

But the point of this post and the comments that followed it is:

On standing up to our enemies and

Nobody, but nobody measures up to Trump!

It ain't even close, folks.  Let me prove it with a list of Trump firsts and I invite Cruz supporters to come back at me with their own list of firsts.

Trump was first to:

• Speak the truth about the rapists/criminals coming from Mexico.
• Pledge to return illegal immigrants to Mexico.
• Declare a boycott of Macy's department store.
• Declare war on political correctness. (I give Carson a lot of credit here too)
• Challenge female commentators and moderators when they are playing unfair (Megyn Kelly).
• Challenge MSM reporters by telling them they don't know what they are talking about.
• Promise to build a wall that Mexico pays for.
• Fight back against John McCain.
• Refuse to be interviewed by the Glenn Beck nut case.
• Say Hillary should be indicted and go to jail if found guilty.
• Say Hillary supported a rapist and harassed women.
• Call Hillary the worst Secretary of State ever.
• Say Hillary got schlonged by Obama.
• Call a former governor "low energy".
• Call the Iran deal the worst in history.
• Call the Obama administration stupid.
• Admit that Muslims were celebrating on 9/11.
• Call for a moratorium on Muslim immigration.
• Fight for better treatment of veterans.
• Refuse to do a debate and hold a charity event for veterans instead.
• Question why Starbucks no longer has Christmas coffee cups.
• Call the Iraq War a mistake.
• Call out the pope for criticizing someone's religion.
• Urge a boycott of Apple products till they open up the San Bernadino terrorist's iPhone.
