Trump supporters are called rabid but mainly cult based on the fact that nothing he says or does or even his policies matter to them. Also his 911 truther thing is to attract liberal democrats to cross over in SC.

At no time did Bush ever send out a tweet directing his followers to attack the opposition the way Trump and to some extent Obama have.
All Trump has to do is tweet “nobody likes you” and you have millions of his mindless followers attacking that person like rabid dogs.
