Hillary and DNC opposition research teams have assembled thick, fully-documented briefing books of material, intending that they be ready for delivery to the news media and political ad teams as soon as Trump has secured the nomination.

If so, let them come, like this fat slob from NowhereVille, America.

Sorry Theo, but, your attempt to point out the problems with Trump will just bring out his cult following to protect their savior by any means. Our Republic is lost now that electing a POTUS has become a reality show.

Wow. An article whose vapidity is exceeded only by its childishness. This is like peeking into the mind of a 9-year old child riding the short bus to school, quite happy in his perceptions of his own brilliance, completely unaware that he (and people who think like him) are just dolts.
But one point in this ridiculous "article" that can't go unanswered: "The destruction of the Reagan Coalition". Trump is reviving the Reagan Coalition. It is the GOPe who destroyed (or, at least, keeps trying to destroy) the Reagan coalition -- the Bush-Dole-Bush-McCain-Romney parade of incompetence, the completely out-of-touch conservative media, the brain-dead useless idiots who give that media any credence.
Trump is the latest manifestation of the true Reagan coalition -- the ones who loved Reagan, the ones who could not stand Bush Sr. (even to the extent of supporting the crazy uncle living in the attic), the ones who voted in massive numbers in 94, 02, 10, and 14, the ones who considered themselves part of the Tea Party (at least, until it became co-opted by self-serving fake conservatives and single issue types). Through Trump, the Reagan coalition once again emerges, and, this time, looks like it may have finally found a candidate who shares Reagan's three most important characteristics, at least in terms of being able to unite such a diverse cross-section of voters: 1) Trump is not from within the political world, and voters know it -- Reagan was an actor, and Trump a real estate tycoon, but both were from outside the world of politics and law; 2) Trump, like Reagan, loves this country deeply, and it shows; and 3) Trump, like Reagan, are seen as genuinely intelligent people even though both, in different ways, weren't seen by many as academic-smart -- Reagan instilled confidence because of his deep wisdom, and Trump because of his pattern of success.
No. Trump will not destroy the Reagan coalition, but he is the best chance of bringing it back into political dominance. Only a deluded self-proclaimed conservative would oppose that. Or one of the Cruz cultists who have infested the conservative world like a pack of rabid chihuahuas (no insult meant to Cruz, who is a genuinely admirable, courageous, and brilliant politician and legal mind -- but he does attract the crazies).

How pathetic - make up potential stuff that would have been used by the Republicans in the race and acting as if the sky will suddenly become unstable if Trump wins - makes zero sense in your scenario - take some more drugs and have a do-over.

“Some things you may learn later this year:
The names of all his conquests, especially if he paid for any to have abortions.
The names of all the illegal aliens working for him, who are supposedly afraid to come out of the shadows.
The names of every stripper he hired whose story turned out Lifetime Movie sad.
The names of every poor schlepp he wrongfully fired and/or fleeced in court.
The alleged “questionable terrorist ties” of all his Muslim-world business interests.
The legions of mysogynistic comments he’s ever made, and on loop.
Just how liberal he really is on social issues.
Every snide comment he’s made about Christians and conservatives in private to his elitist buddies.”
So you’re saying that Trump will be treated LIKE EVERY OTHER REPUBLICAN by the media if he wins the nomination?
Ok, we all expect that. Anything new?

The morning after Trump gives his acceptance speech ... the vetting will begin.
Wrong- the vetting will begin the morning after he wins the nomination. Or any other GOP candidate for that matter.

The article points out the Media Monster waiting up ahead for The Donald.
Trump may be getting a ton of free press right now, but it centers mainly on his public statements and inflammatory quotes. Basic news coverage, really.
AFTER the convention, once the REAL race for the White House begins, the Media “long knives” will come out. Trump will be hammered night and day over every tiny flake of dirt, real or implied, in his world. Every second of his life, both private and business, every action or inaction, every friend and enemy, will be dragged into the spotlight. Remember how they went through Sarah Palin’s trash barrels?
Hopefully, Trump will have someone tasked with pointing out that Obummer was NEVER VETTED by the Media, not even a little, and they buried any dirt they found. Not so with Trump. The article merely warns of the epic stupidity dead ahead.

LOL, the vetting has been going on for months.
There is a secret to winning.
Conservatives have always missed the boat on that secret.
You ignore all the squealing that is done for political reasons and stick with your candidate.

Trumps past is what the 94 million unemployed worried about the most?
How about the other 30 million forced to work part time jobs and jobs below their skill levels?
Voters gave the ^conservative^ republicans plenty of chances to
1. Defund Obamacare
2. Solve the ilelgals problem
3. Reduce abortions
4. Reduce welfare
5. Increase jobs
6. Build the Wall
7. Stop un-vetted Muslims from flooding in
8. Stop hard lefties like Kagan & Sotomayor confirmed.
9. Address Trillion dollar deficits/yr in foreign trade.
The ^conservative^ republicans instead schlonged the middle class to satisfy their rich donors who want the cheap labor express rolling along. Only candidate without rich donors is Trump.
