Scalia died in his sleep. There is no "there" there.

We should all be so lucky to make our exit the way he did.

Murdered by forceful pillow suffocation?

My father in law did.

I sat in his kitchen with my wife and her mom. They were bitching to each other about how long he was sleeping and that he was in there “sleeping like the dead.”

Evidently, he had a massive stroke the night before. Due to body temp and rigor, he had been dead a while.

The medics went to take him and put him on his back and he was literally hard as a rock, stuck in his sleeping-on-his side position. I had seen many dead people. I was upset because it was may wife dad, but I was not shocked.

I just looked at the medics and said, “I think it is probably OK to call this.” We all gave a nervous laugh.

I imagine this was the way he went.

I told my wife, the only way it could have been better is if there were two 20 year old co-eds in there with him.

Right, with a pillow over your face...
