Agreed. And by extension, the first amendment will be quick to follow. The American people have absolutely zero understanding of the crossroads at which we find our nation, but here we are.

If I had to guess, I'd say that the odds favor Obama getting his way and before he's ousted from office, he'll have yet another, likely young, Liberal sitting on SCOTUS. This will damage us for generations, possibly longer if we make it more than a few decades.

My guess: regardless of the winner in November, America ceases to exist as a republic by 2025.

The last 7 years have taught me to be even more cynical. I can see Obama nominating the most radical judge he can find (Kamala Harris from CA would be an example) and then as the senate makes a weak jesture of opposition the media beats up on the nasty republicans so bad that Hillary wins the White House.

The result would be that Obama gets his way, then Ginsburg and maybe Kennedy retire in her first term giving liberals a 7 - 2 advantage. At that point we would have no more constitution and essentially no more country as we know it.
