Code Trump: The Gallop Leftward Continues
American Thinker ^ | 2/15/16 | C. Edmund Wright

Posted on 02/15/2016 6:40:02 AM PST by TBBT

Donald Trump is now officially the Code Pink Republican. Or maybe he's the Daily Kos or Huffington Post Republican. How about the Debbie Wasserman Schultz Republican? I think that fits. Heck, we all saw it and we all heard it. Trump went full left loon on George W. Bush and 9/11, sounding like the most impassioned truther from the left. Did Maxine Waters do his debate prep?

Trump snarked childishly that Bush did not keep us safe on 9/11. Apparently Mr. Trump is not intellectually very curious about history. If he were, he would know that 9/11 was dreamed up, contemplated, financed, planned, and practiced on Bill Clinton's watch. This planning and practicing continued during the days of the hanging chads in Florida.

This is not to defend George W. Bush and his neocon nation-building fantasies and his capitulation to unions regarding the TSA and so on. I've been critical of Bush and Karl Rove since 2001 on these and many other issues.

But the truth matters.

And the truth is that the single biggest failure by the American intelligence community was foisted onto the CIA and the FBI by Clinton appointee Jamie Gorelick with her infamous "wall of separation" between the two agencies. They had their hands tied behind their backs -- thanks to a Clinton appointee.

The Liar is Cruz, period! The divider is Obama, with Hillary’s help. You are spouting nonsense.

I think the other thing is that none of them - neither the Dems nor Trump - wants to focus on Obama, so they’re all jumping back in time. Hillary and Bernie were, obviously, completely in league with Obama and Hillary in particular doesn’t want any examination of her time as SOS.

As for Trump, I honestly think it was just a marble that rolled across his empty skull when he tipped his head a certain way. He obviously has held this opinion, possibly when he was overtly a Dem, and possibly he saw it as a way to attack Jeb Bush or to rev up BDS. But I think it was kind of random, although it has certainly had the unfortunate effect of taking us back in time and getting everybody off the hook for what’s happening today, thanks to Obama’s wretched eight years.

That depends. If the motivation of that person, who happens to be a homosexual, is to subvert the constitution then, no, that is not conservatism. The last time I checked, though, a homosexual can be a constitutionalist regardless of their sexual inclinations.

Big money donors are part of politics now, thanks to McCain Feingold, and even the Donald has said he would take donations in the general. God knows, he was a big money donor himself, and the recipients of his largess were Democrats!

If Cruz wins I’ll happily support him

Tell you what, noob. Get back to me after you’ve managed to educate yourself and actually TRY to do what I suggested in my post 165. Then I’ll be happy to answer YOUR questions.

The common everyday American lives paycheck to paycheck. They have more credit card debt than they can pay off in 2 years. They have less than $500 in the bank. A large car repair bill would likely cause them to miss a house payment. Yep... these are the trump supporters. Everyday americans. I'm telling you, this country is full of irresponsible idiots.... and this crazy country lets them vote. We need a constitutional amendment that institutes an IQ test before people an vote.

Another freeper wrote to me, several days ago: The true owners?!?!? So you think the government is the "true owner" of our property?!? No wonder you like a statist like Trump. You have no respect for property rights yourself.

I responded:

Tell you what, smart guy.

Next property tax bill you get, withold 50 bucks.

Tell them you're not gonna pay, just on principle.

Let me know how that works out for you in 3 or 4 years.

When I buy property, I pay it off as fast as I possibly can. My 15 year mortgages are usually 7 or 8 years.

So, all my property is always paid for IN FULL.

It really annoys me when people like yourself who are shackled to a 30 year mortgage pretend that they own something they don't - since they're playing Liar's Poker with their lifestyle. You know, $1100 a month mortgage payment for 30 years, two $600 a month car payments, all their credit cards maxed out, and barely making the interest payments.

But look at the GREAT life they're living!

So, when the local government shows up at my door twice a year with a "rent" bill on something I've paid for in full, I get annoyed. And I get annoyed at the Maxed Credit weenies who don't understand why I'm getting annoyed.

[This was in response to someone who was getting all balled up about eminent domain, and I explained that only Alaskans own property. The rest of us rent, even if we paid it off in full.]

Good suggestions, but it’s really impossible to know what goes on in Trump’s brain unless one went there and that’s a place I don’t want to go.

But when you think about how this blind worship of Trump has changed the whole face of Free Republic as well as the primary, it’s not a joke.

I think he’d be a very bad president. Insecure, touchy, fighting personal battles constantly and I think he would get bored if he were president.

It would put a damper on the woman chasing thing and the money making thing.

And he’d have to settle for a 40 foot living room instead of an 80 foot.

I just don’t think Air Force One has the amenities that the Trump plane has. No tanning bed. He’d get all pasty.

I don’t know what your answer is, you refuse to have the intellectual honesty to educate yourself. You truly have found your dream candidate. Downside is you’ll be taking the rest of us on the express train to bell right along with you. Please try to buy a clue, maybe watch some of those video thingies, before your primary comes up. Stick around FR for a while and learn what constitutional conservatism is.

I know what the Constitution says. It was written for anyone to understand.
The founders chose their words carefully and expected us to know what they mean.
Sadly, many have decided to redefine some of those words to fit their candidates circumstances.

Your candidate was a Canadian until 18 months ago.

Let’s hope you wake up in time. Jeb Bush is the Establishment’s candidate followed by Rubio. They will do anything to stop Trump who will change the status quo Uniparty system in Washington. America is being sold out to the New World Order! Nobody but Trump is fighting to keep America Sovereign. NO ONE! Got it?
