Code Trump: The Gallop Leftward Continues
American Thinker ^ | 2/15/16 | C. Edmund Wright

Posted on 02/15/2016 6:40:02 AM PST by TBBT

Donald Trump is now officially the Code Pink Republican. Or maybe he's the Daily Kos or Huffington Post Republican. How about the Debbie Wasserman Schultz Republican? I think that fits. Heck, we all saw it and we all heard it. Trump went full left loon on George W. Bush and 9/11, sounding like the most impassioned truther from the left. Did Maxine Waters do his debate prep?

Trump snarked childishly that Bush did not keep us safe on 9/11. Apparently Mr. Trump is not intellectually very curious about history. If he were, he would know that 9/11 was dreamed up, contemplated, financed, planned, and practiced on Bill Clinton's watch. This planning and practicing continued during the days of the hanging chads in Florida.

This is not to defend George W. Bush and his neocon nation-building fantasies and his capitulation to unions regarding the TSA and so on. I've been critical of Bush and Karl Rove since 2001 on these and many other issues.

But the truth matters.

And the truth is that the single biggest failure by the American intelligence community was foisted onto the CIA and the FBI by Clinton appointee Jamie Gorelick with her infamous "wall of separation" between the two agencies. They had their hands tied behind their backs -- thanks to a Clinton appointee.

And I have posted a video of trump in his own words on most of the major issues and asked the trumpeters to respond. And I’ve done it several times and you know what? Not a single one of them has responded. Not.One

The common everyday American lives paycheck to paycheck. They have more credit card debt than they can pay off in 2 years. They have less than $500 in the bank. A large car repair bill would likely cause them to miss a house payment. Yep... these are the trump supporters. Everyday americans. I’m telling you, this country is full of irresponsible idiots.... and this crazy country lets them vote. We need a constitutional amendment that institutes an IQ test before people an vote.

=== === === === === ===

THIS Trump supporter could buy a nice home in Malibu WITH JUST THE TAXES I (me & spouse) PAY EVERY YEAR ON MY (our) INCOME.

I’m sick of voting for Republicans (including big spender, George W) and having them spend, spend, spend, give away after give away to people who sit on their rumps all day, every day.

Does that tell you anything? And I don’t think I’m alone.

The illegal invasion of our country by a third world country is the last straw. I’ll take my chances with Trump because NOTHING is going to change with the others.

Ooops ... might oughta check your own IQ score before proposing that.

I agree about the everyday American.

I don’t agree that Trump actually cares or will do anything to help the situation.

You have no evidence other than his wild promises to believe any of that.

If it is something that benefits Trump, he will do it.

If not, sorry.

I am saying that Donald Trump is able to start implementing his foreign policy, the Trump Doctrine, even before he is even elected.

He sat down with BOR in June 2015 and said:

“I say that you can defeat ISIS by taking their wealth,” Trump told the Fox News Channel star. “Take back the oil. Once you go over and take back that oil, they have nothing. You bomb the hell out of them, and then you encircle it, and then you go in. And you let Mobil go in, and you let our great oil companies go in. Once you take that oil, they have nothing left.”

http://deadline.com/2015/06/donald-trump-isis-bill-oreilly-jeb-bush-hillary-clinton-video-1201445840/

By September, Putin had arranged with Assad to start implementing the Trump Doctrine! So now, if you please, the Trump Doctrine is the status quo! Ok! Fine! I can live with that! :-)

Get a brain.... be one of the one percenters. It’s a free country, you can do that. You’re also free to be one of the average good ole boy americans. Work hard. Be responsible. Don’t blame your situation on other people. Take control of your own life and don’t plan on Trumpy making everything great for you. He won’t, and really, he can’t. No one can. It’s up to you.

Best description of Trump ever!!!

Can I quote you on that?

“He’s simply a mentally unstable individual and a pathological narcissist, a man with no fixed ideology other than the worship of his own personality.”

I would only add that Trump takes any perceived insult personally. Gets obsessed over it.

You need look no further than his insane twitter war with a female tv reporter,

Or, perhaps his wild lashing out at Jeb Bush.

I would never have voted for him the second time if I had thought he would say, “see ya at the signing” when McCain/Kennedy came up.

I admit I was not paying close enough attention before that. After that I looked back and found out in addition to things I knew about and did not like (Medicare part D and NCLB) that GWB had REDUCED border and interior enofrecemnt AFTER 9/11. That is unforgivable IMHO.

Nothing is going to change with Trump either. You’re kidding yourself if you think it is.

For technical reasons I can’t watch videos on this computer.
I’m sure he says things I don’t agree with. Cruz does too.
I’ll vote for either of them in November, How about you?

Good post.

But it’s kinda scary that we are now re-fighting the Iraq war.

And who do we have to thank for that? I believe it could be Mr. Trump.

And who do the democrats have to thank for that?

Why the same blond guy with the cute hair.

“I am saying that Donald Trump is able to start implementing his foreign policy, the Trump Doctrine, even before he is even elected.”

I don’t care about that. you are saying it’s not the status quo, but it is happening right now, which makes it the status quo.

I like your comment about how Trump has mesmerized his base.

That is the weirdest thing about this whole primary cycle.

What could account for this?

I think it is Magic Thinking.

Trump has convinced them that he will make all things better.

That is quite the comforting notion and if you can convince yourself it is true, then there is no need to think about pesky things like issues, or what the guy has done in the past, or anything.

He will be our Big Daddy.

I think you have misread my statements. If Trump is our nominee I will stay home for the general election.

“I thought he was ELECTED TO DO JUST THAT SORT OF THING... No?”

No, that really wasn’t much of an issue in the 2000 elections. Nobody really thought foreign terrorists were much of a threat, and the election focused on domestic issues.
