Donald Trump is now officially the Code Pink Republican. Or maybe he's the Daily Kos or Huffington Post Republican. How about the Debbie Wasserman Schultz Republican? I think that fits. Heck, we all saw it and we all heard it. Trump went full left loon on George W. Bush and 9/11, sounding like the most impassioned truther from the left. Did Maxine Waters do his debate prep?
Trump snarked childishly that Bush did not keep us safe on 9/11. Apparently Mr. Trump is not intellectually very curious about history. If he were, he would know that 9/11 was dreamed up, contemplated, financed, planned, and practiced on Bill Clinton's watch. This planning and practicing continued during the days of the hanging chads in Florida.
This is not to defend George W. Bush and his neocon nation-building fantasies and his capitulation to unions regarding the TSA and so on. I've been critical of Bush and Karl Rove since 2001 on these and many other issues.
But the truth matters.
And the truth is that the single biggest failure by the American intelligence community was foisted onto the CIA and the FBI by Clinton appointee Jamie Gorelick with her infamous "wall of separation" between the two agencies. They had their hands tied behind their backs -- thanks to a Clinton appointee.

Grew up hearing about Truman almost every night at the dinner table. I was also thinking about him and what he had to do. Times and people have really changed but Love of Country is in the hearts of many I truly feel.
And you trumpeters just don’t get it do you? Trump. Is. Not. A. Conservative. He does not believe the things you say you do.
No stranger than any other primary season, at least in terms of the invective being tossed around by many.
>> It’s amazing how mesmerized he has his base <<
I’m tempted to say it’s straight out of Mussolini’s playbook. But I won’t say that, because it wouldn’t be nice.
Trump is a liar and a divider
The United States of America is being strip mined by the NWO (ask Heidi) and the real problem is a family trying to have pizza on a Friday night. Thanks man. very enlightening.

You people ought to realize there is a world outside of FR and that world generally can’t stand Cruz and is pro-Trump. Go to any social media conservative website and read the overwhelming support for Trump (Levin and Red State excepted - Levin censors his posters and Red State hates Trump). Go take a walk over to Hannity’s FB page right now and read the comments regarding Dubya’s appearance on his show tonight. Outright mockery of both Jeb and Dubya and a hell of a lot of people pissed off at Dubya’s presidency. Facts are, nearly 2/3rds of Americans believe there were no WMDs in Iraq and about the same number view the war in Iraq as a mistake. You and others are just upset because Trump has the ability to read the feelings of the American public and has the backbone to actually say things that others won’t.
As usual, Trump is inside the GOPee's OODA loop. No amount of hand-wringing is going to change that fact. :)
It takes more than blaming it on someone else.
{If Trump is a liberal, why do the GOPe hate him and want nothing to do with him?}
You’re not really that obtuse are you? They don’t hate him. Sure they’d rather have somebody from the good old boys club like Bush or Rubio, but failing that, they’ll take trump. They’ve already made those overtures.
And why?
BECAUSE THE GOPE IS LIBERAL TOO! That’s the whole point of why we’re so pissed off. Good grief, people, think! This is what you think will lead the country in a constitutional, conservative direction?
Never forget that Bush was so great candidate he almost lost to Algore after eight years of pure hell that Clinton put the country through. Then after elected he immediately ignored all warnings from the CIA that there was going to be a terrorist attack conducted by Al Queda. He refused to put Muslims on any watch list. In other words he started his liberal democrat impersonation from the minute he was sworn in office. I would see him mouthing words off a teleprompter (just like Obama), looking like the stiff that he is, and I thought to myself Lord help us with this man as president. He looked like a deer caught in headlights every time he gave a speech.
Look, I can cut and paste too. I’m his own freakin words:

Donald Trump: “There's many different ways, by the way. Everybody’s got to be covered. This is an un-Republican thing for me to say because a lot of times they say, “No, no, the lower 25 percent that can't afford private. But—”. DT Sept. 2015
His liberal past is very current. Any Conservative who took the time to read Scalia’s remarks knows he was right on the money.
Amazing how some will set principles aside to take a chance.
Trump completely lost me on Saturday night. He wasn’t my first choice, but I had decided I’d vote for him if he’s the nominee. No more; he has enough political connections to know the truth if he were interested.
And I thought Glenn Beck was nuts...
“Heâs simply a mentally unstable individual and a pathological narcissist, a man with no fixed ideology other than the worship of his own personality.”
And who are YOU to make that conclusion? Are you a psychiatrist? Do you know him? Or is this just what you need to believe to justify your support of another candidate?
Yeah, not that Liberal. Who among us hasn’t funded abortion candidates, Liberals, and the whole Left Wing scheme? I mean I’m sure nearly all of us have praised Hillary on this site. And let’s don’t forget that most of us said great things about Obama. And then, who here hasn’t insisted that Hillary and Bill come to our weddings? Oh well, maybe not. But as you say, Trump wasn’t really all that liberal (right). We’ve all been a little bit Liberal as you describe Trump. NOT. But, after all, it’s all about Trump; it’s not about facts, conservative values, or limiting government. Trump is a spoiled rich kid who wants to be president. And for his followers, anything he’s said, says, did, or does does not matter. He’s presto chango a “conservative” with unique knowledge of how to improve America.
