I am really amazed at the depth of the hatred for Cruz and the strength of support for Trump on a conservative forum. I support Cruz because I am a Constitutionalist.

I think he has the best chance of all the candidates of shooting himself and us in the foot.

Many believe he has the Evangelical support because he’s a Christian, which I appreciate him for that — but that’s not why I started out supporting him. I wasn’t looking for a Christian candidate, simply one who would get us back on track after nearly 8 long years.
There’s much vitriol here lately. I try to stay out of it, but just this past week, I was informed that I’m going to hell for supporting Cruz.

I support Trump because I believe in the Constitution, and Cruz was not born on American soil, nor was he born to parents serving our country in foreign lands.
I cannot vote for a foreigner to be President of the United States.
(oh, and I wouldn’t have voted for McCain in any event)
