MSNBC's Chris Matthews Hints Cruz Ginning Up Nixonian 'Dirty Tricks' In S.C.

With New Hampshire in the dust and the 2016 presidential campaign moving southward to the Palmetto State, MSNBC's Chris Matthews tonight sought to paint conservative Republican Senator Ted Cruz as a latter-day Richard Nixon ginning up a bag full of "dirty tricks" for the February 20 South Carolina contest.
Dipping out of live coverage of a Donald Trump campaign rally in Pendelton, S.C., Matthews wondered if the GOP frontrunner was "sort of priming the pump now for some dirty action by the Cruz people?"
"I think he should be, if he's not already," Trump campaign correspondent Katy Tur answered. "The dirty tricks of South Carolina are well known, as we were just talking about," she added, before going over a litany of supposed Cruz "dirty tricks" in the Iowa contest. "Those are child's play when it comes to South Carolina politics," Tur noted, concluding that given how all the other campaigns have seasoned "smart South Carolina operatives" on staff, that if "Trump doesn't see these dirty politics, these dirty games coming his way, then he doesn't have a very good staff."(continued)

He "forgot" to declare his loans from Goldman and Citi to the FEC.
He "knew nothing" about what his handlers did to Carson in Iowa.
I see a pattern emerging.

I must disagree. Trump is only on his second trophy wife. I think Ivana was the real thing while it lasted.

Do you feel good about agreeing with your fellow traveler Chris Matthews? Do you suffer from the same “tingles?”

I never dreamed Ted would have burned "principled" to ashes on the altar of winning like he has. Amazing Ted's book title is "A time for Truth". I bought it.
I couldn't believe Ted forgot Trump was the only one to mention the names of two conservative judges he'd consider appointing at the beginning of the debate. Instead the "brilliant debater" with "a photographic recall of the spoken word" LIED and said "Trump will appoint liberal judges."
Wow. What a stupid tactical mistake. It shows canned soundbites overruled smart tactical maneuvering - he didn't recognize the battle field changed with Trump's mentioning the two conservative judges he'd appoint. He ran with the canned soundbite anyway. Very bad mistake, very bad tactical judgment.
That was stunning.
Jeff Roe Linked Once Again To Political Lies
http://www.yeoldejournalist.com/23653-2/
This is not the first time that a Jeff Roe run campaign has been accused of leaking to the press that a candidate running against them was quitting the race. In 2010, a press release was sent to KSPR that appeared to be from the Scott Eckersley campaign that noted he was dropping out. KSPR ran the story in the morning news and Eckersley was put in damage control in the final days of the campaign.

Iowa’s a totally different place, and a caucus, not a primary. NH was a massive Trump landslide, in a primary state where the polls showed he had a big lead like the lead shown in the SC polls.
I think Cruz or at least his followers, will be reduced to passing off rock concerts as Cruz rallies, like they did a few nights ago.

Two nights ago Cruz crashed a big rock concert and got onstage for a moment, and then took the photos of the huge crowd and claimed it was a "Cruz Rally." LOL! Look for more of that.
In New Orleans, at Jackson Square, there is a small stadium-like, bleacher-like area of seats where tourists sit and rest their feet. NOLA politicians go there and stand in front of the throng of tired, resting tourists, have their picture taken, then present it as a huge crowd gathered for the purpose of supporting them and hearing them speak.

You Cruz haters hated Michelle Bachmann for the same reason. Because she boldly expressed her faith in the Lord. Worldlies don’t like to hear that.

That not only clears Cruz, it clears Obama to admit he was born in Kenya. Of course he only found out the day he left office.
