Bush didn’t lie, but the country, and most Republicans think he did, as he NEVER DEFENDED HIMSELF, unlike a certain candidate from NY will.
Trump’s now running his general election campaign, he’s not going to go into the mud on nuances regarding who knew what, and when, as the vast majority of the country sees it.
Bottom line is that Trump sees this primary season as about over (which it is, given his SC polling), and now it’s on to the general election.

I beg to differ. I think the intelligence used to justify the invasion was fabricated and he used that fabricated evidence to sell the war to the American people and a lot of the problems we now face are a result of that fabrication. And I think Jeb Bush would like to white wash that history. Good on Trump for not letting him get away with it.
That's simply not true. There are three possibilities at play here and they relate to The Weapons of Mass Destruction":
1. Iraq did have the weapons and moved them to Syria before the war started.
2. Iraq did not have those weapons but the Intelligence community botched it and Bush believed them.
3. Iraq did not have those weapons and Bush new it but wanted to invade Iraq. So he lied to the American people in order to go to war.
In fact, #1 is most likely correct and it is the position of most Freepers.
Most Americans believe #2 and that is an admittedly rational position given the biased news reporting.
#3 Is the Trump/Pelosi/Reid/NYT/Gore/LAT/MSNBC/CBS/NBC/ABC position and the position of all the Dem Crazies out there.
