First, he was for the lives of babies being snuffed out like nothing, now, he says he is not for it. Praises Planned Parenthood.
But he went into Truther territory.
There could be some longterm damage, I think he stands to lose 5% at least of the SC vote, that may not be much but it could continue to grow.
He needs to get 51% or more of the delegates, otherwise, it can be a brokered convention.
Bush didn’t lie, but the country, and most Republicans think he did, as he NEVER DEFENDED HIMSELF, unlike a certain candidate from NY will.
Trump’s now running his general election campaign, he’s not going to go into the mud on nuances regarding who knew what, and when, as the vast majority of the country sees it.
Bottom line is that Trump sees this primary season as about over (which it is, given his SC polling), and now it’s on to the general election.

If this is a common trait of conspiracy theorists, it's very interesting to me. I know an otherwise brilliant young man who perfectly fits this description of black and white, and there's no room for any shades of gray for him, in anything.
He has a lot of odd theories, and this may explain one reason he won't budge from his theories ... because if he were to back down to any other explanation, and with no room for gray, he would be a liar in his own mind.
