I am currently saying goodbye to my mother, named Irene, who died early yesterday...seems like a week. She had just turned 90.
I pray for a peaceful passing for your Irene, if indeed it is her time. I will also share my personal experience of being disappointed in myself about how I have dealt with aspects of my grief. It wasn’t so much what I was saying, but bad thoughts that were way out of line.
I am finding that telling it to someone and making amends as needed got that off my conscience.

I do pray that God sends the right people at the right time to assist you in the days to come. That is how the God I try to know and serve seems to work in my life. I am mostly too dull and distracted to keep that in the front of my mind.
Our prayers for your family. At her age, it would appear your mother-in-law has lived a long life and the Lord is calling her home. What ever happens, we wish your family God blessing as you go through the inevitable process we all anticipate in our lifetimes.
I am sorry about your mom and understand the challenge. I lost my husband five years ago, an honest loving, giving man and a wonderful father! And I was angry... Why him, when criminals run free??? In the end the answer was he was needed for a greater purpose but that did not help at the time. Stay strong and forgive yourself for your thoughts, they will one day make you stronger somehow...
