Getting candid in her old age.
Madeline Albright said “there’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women” while bumping up Hillary I’m sure.
Do you think she was talking about Carly Fiorina? No - because conservative women aren’t really women to progressives. Nor was Sarah Palin a woman, nor is Nikki Haley, nor were any of Bill Clinton’s victims. None of them were women of interest or consequence as far as progressives are concerned.
She was stumping for Hillary - and that’s the only woman she was referring to. This whole thing about “supporting another woman” is totally bogus.
Yes, they are clearly “boys”, as no true “man” supports socialism.
Gloria Steinem’s as relevant as eight track tapes.
the second mistake she made was not criticizing the Muslim world’s treatment of women, as Bill Maher tried to get her to.
The failure of the left (and the Democrat Party) to criticise the dar-al-Islam is a monster reason I left that party.
Hmmmm. Seems like this hag lost all relevancy about 60 years ago. But to some she’s an “icon”. Really? If your daughter has to sign up for the draft someday soon, maybe a thank you note would be appropriate to send to this hag. Hey, equal rights. Right?
P. J. O’Rourke said he was a liberal in college, because liberal chicks were easy. Adopting liberal positions was a way of ingratiating yourself with liberal chicks, and liberal chicks put out.
Gloria Steinem, on the other hand, is just delusional. Young women like Bernie because he is promising to be Santa Claus and Hillary is a stale old hack.
What about fish and bicycles? I thought modern women didn’t need men.
And now Steinem is quoted.
New surprises daily to discover certain people of the past remain alive to be quoted.
RE the late 60s early 70s: I seem to recall quite a few guys over the years admitting that they got involved in various lefty causes back then because that’s where the (easy) girls were. I bet Ol’ Gloria was a real tough nut to crack. Probably a lot of starry eyed young simpletons on the McGovern campaign.
A former Democrat, I joined the Republican party because that’s where the “men” are.
