“Cruz is a career politician.”
If you call serving once in an elected office by winning the US Senate in 2012 a ‘career politician’, then you are completely delusional, friend.
BTW, what is your criteria for calling someone not a career politician? Never running for office?
Cruz’s entire career has been in politics:
Director of the Office of Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission
Associate deputy attorney general at the United States Department of Justice,
Domestic policy advisor to President George W. Bush on the 2000 George W. Bush presidential campaign.
Solicitor General of Texas from 2003 to 2008, appointed by Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott.
Longest-serving solicitor general in Texas history.
That was before he duped the people of Texas into handing him the Senate seat.
You do know he had other government jobs right? Cruz gas been in government for almost 2 decades.
1999-2003 FTC, Assoc Dep AG, Dom Pol Adv to Bush
2003-2008 Sol Gen of TX
2004-2009 Prof at U of TX
2012 Vice Chair National Repub Senatorial Cmte
2013 - Now - US Senator
He is 45 years old, been in govt (or working for gov school) for about 13 years. I do not think he is done anything else except apparently plan for this day.
