I am wondering if any of the candidates on our side are either any good or electable. Cruz is the only one I trust but I am not sure if he is electable.

According to a breadth of polls, Cruz is more electable than Trump. Trump’s unfavorability is very high, much higher than Cruz’s.

"Electable" is a bullshit term invented by political snake-oil salesmen. Vote for him. Or don't vote for him. But quit getting bent out of shape over the blatherings of professional consultants. Ask President Romney about how important it is to be "electable".

Trump said super lawyer Cruz not knowing about proper filing of Goldman Sachs money was worse than Hillary claiming not to know about classified info requirements.
He didn’t say Cruz’s conservatism is worse than Hillary’s liberalism as is the dishonest attempt of the title.

I think he is. You will notice as he is being given an ear more and more, he’s given the chance to shine. And shine he does. If he were the nominee, it would be an absolutely amazing thing to watch the MSM desperately try to discredit him and fail, day after day. And a debate with Hillary or Bernie? Better than the superbowl.

Trump is unelectable. He loses an electoral landslide to Clinton, Biden, Brown, or whoever the Dems decide on. The demographics of his support are people who don’t turnout to vote. His unfavorables are higher than any other candidate, and despite his reality show name recognition, he will alienate most of the electorate before he is done.

Cruz has by far the he highest net favorability amongst voters of all the GOP candidates according to Gallup. Trump has one of the lowest net favorability ratings amongst the GOP candidates primarily by of what a nasty vicious creature he is. On top of that Cruz is beating Hilary in head to heads at RCP average.
You better believe it, Cruz is very electable.

Cruz beats Clinton in a general election matchup, Trump loses to Clinton due to high negatives among Ind voters.

If Cruz gets the nomination, he will win in a huge landslide.

Bingo. It’s not a thing to be desired, but Hillary is in good shape to win.
