Many people are becoming familiar with a common âtruth-stretching traitâ of Ted Cruz that appears to be infecting his followers and supporters.
I don’t think your suggestions are plausible now (adviser, best buddy).
I would rather have Cruz than anyone else, but I’m not in a frenzy after what I’ve seen in the last 3 elections.
“...But leave off this ridiculous tin foil that Ted Cruz is somehow working against America because of where he was born...”
All your points are solid and well stated.
He was 4 years old when he moved to Texas - Trump supporters would have you believe he was turned into an American hating “manchurian candidate” before his 4th birthday despite his record revealing a *very* solid conservative, the likes of which very rarely come along as a candidate for POTUS.
As I understand it, Cruz only learned of his dual citizenship 9 months before he affirmatively renounced it - His family did not apply for Canadian citizenship for him when he was born; the Canadian govt did it automatically. Consider if Scotland were to grant Scottish citizenship to Trump based on his mother’s heritage without Trump applying for it, what would that mean?
And as I keep saying, if the founding fathers, framers of the Constitution, thought Cruz’s circumstance of birth was acceptable as a presidential candidate in the N.A. of 1790, who am I to argue with their opinion?
I can’t support Trump in the primaries because I see the controlling egomaniac in him. He is all about “winning” and everything else is secondary - and I mean, *everything* else. I have yet to hear him mention what, if anything would be “off the table” in his negotiations with Congress over his agenda. What Constitutional rights would he be willing to allow legislative and/or executive policy infringement upon in order to advance his agenda and be seen as “The Winner”?
Now should Trump win the general, I will certainly vote for him as the “lesser evil” over the Dem’s egomaniacs and hope & pray he can regulate his inner egomaniac for the good of the nation as much as possible.
But, that’s just my opinion and opinions will likely vary.
This whole thing is just sad - I liked Cruz too.
Why can’t it be either/or? Either one would be good for America, why must we fight amongst ourselves? Can’t we all just get along? :)
You just proved his point.
Yep. The other people seeking the presidency, including the democrats as well, simply do not measure up to Trump.
They all want to be the leader, but not one of them has even a single iota of leadership skill or ability.
A leader inspires people to follow their lead. It’s just that simple. Some people shine, and it is a very rare some.
The others are not inspiring, they are not leaders.
Show me the post that compares Cruz supporters to the female sex toy.
All I see around here is Cruz supporters calling trump supporters idiots, retards, dummies, liberals, monkeys, cultists and whatever else.
I imagine that there are some Trump supporters who have had enough of this garbage and have said things in return. People will eventually respond to insults.
My response to it is to simply stop supporting Cruz. Done with it.
I don’t want to win for winning’s sake.
I want to elect someone who loves America and hates what our government has done to this country.
And I want to elect a leader, that is someone with actual leadership skills, who swings a wrecking ball.
Maybe he will save America, maybe he won’t.
That remains to be seen.
But one thing I know for sure is that the GOP most certainly isn’t going to.
My vote is based on what i decide to base it on, and so is my non-vote.
If I chose to stop supporting Cruz because the people who support him on FR disgust me, then that’s my choice, and there’s nothing you can do about it.
You can call it pathetic if it makes you feel better, but what it is is history. Maybe they will learn from it for next time, but I doubt it.
Yes they are. It’s like some sort of shrill, desperate insanity.
And my response to it is that I am going to do what I can to make their guy lose, and that’s it.
I’ve seen enough of their nonsense.
Trump-bashers already proved the point that they are haters.
I’ve been blessed!!!
Thank You, Jesus!
I feel the same way about Trump supporters. One of the reasons I would have a hard time supporting Trump.

Seriously? Objecting to a vacuous Cruz bashing post is hateful?
John 8:32 - “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Right on cue. Pavlov is smiling.
Fair enough.
Admitted Bill Clinton supporters, which she is, are not capable of the act. Just keep in mind that it’s a lightning-proof leftist posting the stuff and it all makes sense.
