Why must we relegate the homeless, the unemployed, and the poor to ePodments, to tiny homes, to mini-homes, to dwellings made of junkyard scrap and other cheap materials, to dwellings the size of closets?
The mark of a civilized society is how well the most helpless are treatedâanimals, children, the elderly, and those who are homeless. There is always room for improvement. We are plenty generous with people from other countries, but we miss the mark when it comes to helping our own chronic homeless, the veterans, babies in the womb, the elderly, and others who cannot protect themselves.
It is in plain view that we have failed the homeless. We all pass by people who look healthy, able-bodied, and well-fed, asking for help on a street corner, professional panhandlers who have a nice car and a home to go to â they make a living panhandling. But then there are those sleeping in the streets, in the cold, in the rain, too dirty and too exhausted to beg; theyâve become so invisible and ignored, nobody speaks to them anymore.
I finally got it...to each his own....
A lot of these folks were institutionalized for their own good (and society’s) before the libs decided that they needs to be “freed”. As usual, their intentions were “marvelous” but it did not end well.
Never thought of that before Grace.
But you can bet your bottom Dollar the Liberals who view East Germany as a Goal would salivate at that technology.

Yeah, like any tech it could be used for good or evil.
I’ll bet the control freaks would love to shove dissidents into as a form of “re-education”, especially if it were subtle....
Yes. Indeed.
If and when we reopen the mental hospitals perhaps we can compassionately include treatment for politicians
So true. I personally know many for whom hobo living is their own preference.
Yup. That is where I was coming from. I have a few in my immediate family, breaks my heart we tried to help but to no avail. They live on the street now.
