There is lots of pain. Life wasn’t pretty, not just messy, not pretty. There is lots of pain.

Life is sometimes filled with painful moments that seem unbearable. The best we can do is give it our every effort, with all the grace we can manage. Sometime that isn't enough, and we need to trust in God to give us the help we need. Sometimes we fail, and often it's painful, but if we are lucky we will get to try again. Sometimes we succeed, with the grace of God, and change our life for the better. If we are extraordinarily fortunate we can make a difference in another person's life.
Be honest, be sincere, and in hope that your Brother's children will follow a different path.
