And your point is what? There is no ban on fracking in PA and even some localities that have tried to impose bans within their city limits have ended up in court. Due to the way pads can be used tp drill laterals for several miles, a smart driller can place the pad at the city limit and still drill almost the entire area through extended laterals. You said there was a fracking ban in PA and that is just wrong. There are thousands of fracked wells and more to come when prices rebound. Don’t kid yourself, NY will allow fracking as soon as the drillers grease enough palms in Albany, but right now, with a gas glut and no takeaway infrastructure, why bother?
