In some countries they celebrate Mawlid, which is a festival celebrating the birth of Muhammad. I am wondering when this festival will start being celebrated in America? It could happen.

Why are they interjecting religion into the schools. They could not find songs to fill their play list without having to resort to religious ones?

So, they only believe in separation of the Christian church and state. Islam and the state go together. That proves they KNOW Islam is a political ideology and not a religion.

I'm guessing they had a mix but I get your point. Personally, I don't want anyone's religion pressed on my kids at school.

I believe the courts have already ruled that this argument doesn't fly WRT Christian prayers or religious observances. If it's sanctioned by the school (as opposed to being student-organized and led), it's an impermissible endorsement of religion, whether participation is mandatory or not.
