FLASHBACK: Ted Cruz Joins Glenn Beck to Deliver Soccer Balls, Teddy Bears To Illegal Aliens
DC Clothesline ^ | 7/19/2014 | Suzanne Hamner

Just when you think things can’t get any crazier with the illegal alien invasion of the United States through our porous southern border, it does. The hullabaloo occurring because of “children” crossing the border, which the mainstream media touts as the majority of crossers in opposition to actual fact, is producing controversy between upholding the law and breaking the law. Glenn Beck is taking soccer balls and teddy bears along with meals and clothing to the Texas border to “help” these children using his own money and money he solicited from his followers. The surprise in all of this is that Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is now joining with Beck at the border on Saturday to “feed, clothe, and provide toys for illegal immigrant children.”

Beck keeps good company as his efforts have garnered the support of Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX), Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, and none other than conservative rocker Ted Nugent.

Spokeswoman for Cruz, Catherine Frazier, states in an email to The Blaze:

Tens of thousands of children are being smuggled into the United States by dangerous drug cartels and transnational gangs – it is heartless to allow that to continue.

But while we work to reverse the policies that have cause this tragedy, it is important we recognize the human element of this crisis, and Sen. Cruz is glad to join Glenn Beck and Mercury One in that effort to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing.

What else can be said? The truth in law being repeated is a broken record that has now been shattered. When the “golden boy of upholding the Constitution” decides to get in on the “humanitarian crisis” mainstream media train, it is time to face the facts that the American people are destined to be, if not already, subjects to the elite in Washington headed by the usurper in chief. Not to mention, the American people are being fed more shill when a spokeswoman states they are working “to reverse the policies” that produced this “tragedy.”

June, 2014:

“while we work to reverse the policies that have caused this tragedy, it is important we recognize the human element of this crisis, and Sen. Cruz is glad to join Glenn Beck and Mercury One in that effort to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing,” (Cruz Spokesperson) Frazier continued.

Just to clarify, Cruz’ stated purpose for going to this event a year and a half ago was to highlight the human tragedy being caused by Obama’s amnesty policy. And. He was joined by Louis Gohmert.

Is this how we are going to prosecute this primary, by throwing every conservative in our way under the bus? Shame on all of you.

I’m a Cruz supporter. I’ll back Trump in the general if it comes to that.

If either of these guys win, we win. There will bring different things to the table, but left off either table will be the paymasters’ agendas.

Trump supported do not need to bring down Cruz to win. And. Vice versa.

This thread is sad.

I know exactly what my favored candidate's positions are now and have been.

You haven't nor are you "educating" me at all. Heck, you couldn't, since you don't know more then I do.

Oh well....continue in your de3lusions, since they apparently make you happy.

Don't try to twist my words....Cruz and his wife worked in the Bush administration, that's where they met...Cruz also knew John Bohner and did represent him...but now says he didn't know him...

As far as the Bushes go, they were with the Nazi group along with a few others, Prescott Bush was also a Senator and worked for a bank that laundered money for the Nazis....

http://www.foxnews.com/story/2003/10/17/documents-bush-grandfather-directed-bank-tied-to-man-who-funded-hitler.html

I haven't seen any of that kind of stuff with Trump's background. He hasn't casted a vote, except as a business man voting in New York, and his father was highly respected in New York, his grandfather was German and came from Germany, and hiked into Alaska and made his name there...

You are judged by the company you keep, birds of a feather, and the only reason Trump had Hillary and Bill at his wedding was like a businessman, they have ‘galas’ instead of receptions....and everybody is invited...

Okay so what was Donald Trump's position on amnesty and deportations as late as July 24th 2015?

What happened? Montag launched an attack on Ted Cruz based on him comforting some scared children with a small present. That’s what happened.

How did I "launch an attack"? I saw this on Facebook, and don't remember ever seeing it on FR last year, so I posted it. I am stunned by it. Beck was CASTIGATED on FR for doing this. It was one of his bizarre self-serving actions for their own sake. I am just shocked that Cruz actually helped him, and I don't recall any criticism of Cruz, nor questions from Breitbart, etc of the Senator as to why he did this. Sure I am for Trump, but have always said if he collapses I am with Cruz. But stories like this really give me pause.

Y'all keep spinning this like it was a bad thing. Beck said repeatedly that he was against open borders, illegal immigration, for eenforcing laws, etc., but these were little kids, and he wanted to give them a little comfort. Seems like the Christian thing to do.

Little kids grow up to be their parents. Do you advocate nurturing tiny baby pit vipers or hand feeding cute little grizzly bear cubs? Rightly placed compassion is a fine thing.

I have given money for years to orphaned or impoverished Native American children but as members of autonomous Tribal Nations among us, they are also American citizens and their relatives are not trying to overrun and destroy or murder us.

The liberal bleeding heart "do it for the children" meme has run its politically correct course. We need to let it die!

This Teddy Bear bit of information has been mentioned numerous times on FR.

As I pointed out to you up thread, Cruz then went back to Washington to fight Obama's amnesty.

That's the full context of what happened.

Thank me for raising your level of information.

Same cast of characters bashing the lone (or one of a very few) conservative candidates every election cycle. This time doing so while propping up a democrat who just adopted an “R” next to his nsme just before announcing his candidacy. Telling...very telling.

Pretty good illustration of poor judgment right there.

Yes she is:
Real Clear Politics:

The Trumpeter is getting clobbered by an average of 6.1% in all the polls. Reality is not the Trumpbots strongest point.

Hey Joe, just the first poll on the list, CNN/ORC 12/17 - 12/21, reveals 75% of Democrats are "Somewhat to Extremely enthusiastic" about voting versus 84% of Republicans are "Somewhat to Extremely" enthusiastic about voting. That turns your prognosis upside down. The Demos may say they want Hillary over Trump but a larger portion will stay home. I guess it is true, your claim does not mean a thing.

Don't try to twist my words....

Pray do tell. Where your so called words were twisted? You make a meal of it and twist yourself into a knot all by yourself without any help from.me.

Cruz and his wife worked in the Bush administration, that's where they met...

Oh no!
Ted Cruz met his wife at the Bush campaign?
Why that's horrible! What a disreputable plce to meet ones future wife. I am shocked I tell ya. Shocked!
Now why don't you get back to me when you have something worth s**t to say, sport?

Cruz also knew John Bohner and did represent him...but now says he didn't know him...

Ted Cruz said he didn't know John Boehner?
When was that?
Last time I checked Ted Cruz was proudly using the fact that Boehner called him a jackass as a campaign talking point. So perhaps you will explain how the same Ted Cruz managed to say he doesn't know John Boehner yes?

Ummmm no.
Republicans are more enthusiastic about 2016 than Democrats. Yes. Despite that, the Trumpster is still getting clobbered by his close pal Hilary. That tells you how badly Trump is doing.

If your do not understand the logic of my post I do not know what else I can say.

But here goes. If 2% of voters say they will support Hillary over Trump, yet 9% more Republicans are enthusiastic about voting, then Trump wins by 7%.

All I want to know is where the Stuffed Bears and Soccer Balls were Manufactured, China?

Nothing wrong with Ted and Crazy Glenn giving some Kids presents.

BTW - Who paid for the Toys, Glenn? Good on whoever it was, as long as it wasn’t the Taxpayers.
