A summary of political aspects you might find of interest; but first a note that I've yet to see anyone bring up.
In an unusually respectful interview between CNN host Don Lemon and Donald Trump, there was a moment when Lemon paused and thoughtfully asked if Trump was prepared to lose a significant amount of his wealth over his 'controversial' Muslim policy statement to pause immigration.
The response from Trump was not covered nor discussed, but it speaks volumes to understanding the candidate. He simply replied: none of that matters, none of that money matters, what I’m doing is trying to make America Great again…
In essence, a literal modern version of putting his life, his fortune and his sacred honor all on the line – for us.
No candidate has worked harder in the past six months to earn support. No candidate has held as many campaign events; no candidate has held as many rallies; no candidate has drawn tens of thousands to each – day in, and day out, without pause, rest or concern.
Donald Trump is, quite simply, working his ass off for this.
And the American electorate are aware and appreciative. A Reuters/IPSOS poll today shows how strong the support for Donald Trump is:
Support that is unfailingly strong.
People can see how hard Trump is working. The electorate can feel the connection he is putting forth for the best interests of America above his own best interests.
This is a remarkable revolution; and I’ll be the first to admit I fully entered with skepticism of Trump’s motive – but those thoughts are completely gone. Watching how he is working day and night to put his message out, to build his coalition, to unite Americans around a very simple commonality of America First – it’s quite inspiring.
All reservations of Trump’s intent have entirely evaporated. He’s in this for one reason, and one reason only, To Make America Great Again.
And people all over have responded with the same level of intensity and severity. CBS hired political pollster Frank Luntz to try out various attack ads against Donald Trump. What he found was absolutely incredible.
After three hours of a constant barrage of negative ads, no-one flinched in their support for Trump. Heck, it actually GREW.
Yeah, I'm having fantasies.
That's why I'm pretending to write "articles" as "sundance".
Yep. Fantasies.
If homey won't sign his name to it, you still figure it's alright?
He's a punk.
Reads some crap on the internet and re-writes it.
Woo hoo.
The wrong key? Aiming for "L" and accidentally hit "R"? Lol, they're not even close! Nice try tho..
Say what you want but the man knew how to throw a party!
Question. Have you been to a Trump rally? Have you stood in line for hours visiting with the other people in the line? Have you stood shoulder to shoulder in a room with thousands of others, listening to him? And the crowd you are with?
You really need to give it a rest, you’re behaving childishly.
It’s just a blog, nothing more. Take it or leave it, It matters not a whit, but obsessing over it is petty and immature.
No. Have you? Did you need some kind of production to convince you?
Have you stood in line for hours visiting with the other people in the line?
Certainly not. Why would I?
Have you stood shoulder to shoulder in a room with thousands of others, listening to him?
Even if I had, I'd not describe it like that.
Good lord, that sounds like worship. Be ashamed and repent.
You're a bit sick with the idolatry and need to get right with Jesus.
LOL - You obviously have a problem here.
Yes, I have been to a rally. Stood in line with thousands of people, visiting with all near by. (We’re friendly folks here in Nevada.) Small business men, retirees, ski bums, Hispanic teens, Asian people, college students. All solid Christians, hoping Trump was what we had all been praying for to fix this country.
Once inside, listening to him, you could feel the attention the audience was giving him, and could see and hear that he enjoyed being there, and that he was actually paying attention to the people in the crowd.
Afterwards, sitting in the casino buffet and listening, everyone was talking, hoping he can pull this off. Same in the lines at valet parking, waiting for cars.
By the way, not worship or idolatry, HOPE finally. How many other candidates inspire hope? Hope that the politicians, the money, the go along to get along people can finally be beat.
Oh, and I’m right with Jesus, by the way. :)
How so, with what, and based upon what observation?
Yes, I have been to a rally.
Good for you. I hope it was worth your time.
Stood in line with thousands of people
I'm sorry you subjected yourself to that.
Afterwards, sitting in the casino buffet and listening,
You still have a bit of macaroni on your lap.
Sit at a table next time.
Since you obviously have no desire to learn anything about Trump or his supporters and can only level insults, how ‘bout we just agree to disagree.
I like Trump just fine.
Looks like your assessment is a bit off base.
Try harder.
is a Paradigm Shift
More like a throw back to a far earlier time....
Leonidas of Sparta.
And like Leonidas,
Trump sports a Mullet and takes no prisoners.
YES, I have stood in line...it was amazing. Manassas VA
Last time I felt the crowd so angry and ready to fight for someone was for a PALIN event in the DC area!
Wearing my shirt here seems to attract all kinds of people who agree and only an occasional “really?”.
If the RNC had any brains, they would embrace Trump. They are doomed to oblivion otherwise, because those who support him now simply will not vote for anyone else in either party.
Yes, amazing is an excellent word for it.
