It is very concerning that our betters, in the form of our nation's legislators and judges, read the 2d A as narrowly as possible and insist that the right to bear is only for self-defense. Further, that government is free to restrict the use of arms to within one's residence and the choice of arms to those that provide in the opinion of the betters, the minimal means of protection.

Of course, the 2d says nothing at all about being limited to self-defense or any restrictions.

OTOH, those same betters ignore or gloss over the 1400 year record of a murderous cult and with no difficulty see it as a "religion" that deserves lst A protection.
