I’ll wait for Cruz to answer the constitutional question if congress can stop these “refugees”. I think I read he has already written a bill about this to be passed by the Senate. However, knowing McConnell our bird brain Majority Leader, I doubt he will let it come up for a vote. There should be news about this bill shortly.
Frankly i don’t think McConnell would have the guts to not bring it up for a vote. He would then certainly follow Boehner. And he knows it.

refugees = “a person who has been forced to leave their country in order to escape war, persecution, or natural disaster” Not in the Constitution, thus Not a Power of the Federal Government. A refugee and Immigrant are two different things.
Now Invader is another Term and one more accurate for many of these individuals and there is something in the Constitution about them, The Federal Government is Responsible for STOPPING them.
Lastly There is no part in the Constitution where the Federal Government is Give Power to Tell a State(nation) they have to take Non-Americans in, However there is a part where the undefined powers are Left to the States and the People...
