The same was said about Social Security cards and credit cards. The US government, through SS cards (includes income tax documents), already know who we are and where we live - except for illegals (they are still independent, not in the government’s clutches). How do we become illegals as they seem to have a better deal than we do.

MARCELLA, ....the refugees are leaving camps in the thousands, without registering in Europe, Europe has lost control of the masses there....so they will push this national ID as another "crisis" to track them. ...but moreso as 'the excuse' to rush this ID to the World as a whole.

The difference is that SS cards are not needed to purchase everything- the one world order and ‘mark of the beast’ will require a number in order to purchase anything food, clothing, electricity, fuel, health care services etc
