Major parts of that thing are made out of wood.

Indeed. My first imoression was why havent I ever seen one of these before...
I figured out ..most people dont have the space to keep everything that their family ever owned.
Two OLD Trucks with wood cabs,.and the most rust Ive ever seen on a tractor.
I was touring the backroads with a buddy,...and there they were.

It's beautiful
I'd want to restore it's functionability (is that a word?), but leave all the rust and dents alone

The photos of the ancient blue truck....I havent even begun to process yet. It too deserves to be preserved in it’s natural state.
Im using a new computer and all new software to process photos today,...as I had to..and the Old Rusted One is the first on the block.
both vehicles are by the way no more than 12 feet from the road...

It appears to be a model A pickup with a custom dump bed on it.
Would be cool to have it in original condition.

Awesome find and what a great photograph.
Imagine the stories that truck could tell if it could speak!

Looks like a 29 or 30 AA. Google will find more barn finds or top shelf examples. It is really cool to come upon these finds in their natural state.

Looks like a 1933 Model BB Ford. It has the arched light mount, rounded grill, side louvers, and rear duals.

Did you look at the engine? The 33 BB was the first year for a V8 I believe.

Kinda reminds me of an old robot in the salvage dump where Luke Skywalker found R2D2. Great photo. And makes me kind of sad for simpler times. Not easier - but less ridiculous. Just think of all the madness that hadn’t happened yet when that automobile was in its prime.

That is great. We used to do photo tracks in that area too. The old barns and relics are awesomes.
