I’m in the middle of the corn belt. Our farmers feed more people than anyone on earth. They are the front line of agriculture. These people keep themselves very well informed on anything affecting their business. I don’t know a single one that doesn’t know that “climate change” is a hoax.

“We are asking you to embrace the opportunity presented to you in Paris, and to come back with a sound agreement, properly financed, that can affect real change.”

...

Properly Financed. Those are the key words and most likely this means these companies have found a way to steal billions from the taxpayer.

These same corporations are what’s wrong with our food supply.

They are doubling down on stupid.

I guess what’s in it for them is tighter controls, higher prices. Just like Obamacare.

Why don’t they just seed the clouds with Brawndo.
Brawndo’s electrolytes have got what plants crave.

If these companies believed this crap, they would be buying up potential farmland in Canada.

From a corporation point of view, the letter serves two purposes.

#1) Insulation from a very political IRS. Remember, Coca Cola just got hit for $30,000,000,000 in back taxes. Volkswagen and their recent non-union plants in America just got their diesel nightmare.

#2) The government grant handouts and federal cost sharing money pot is going to be ripe for "Sustainable Practices" seed money for food producers to adopt newer practices IAW climate change rules mandated by government, so it's better to be out ahead and sitting on such panels making the rules.

"The letter was signed by the chief executive officers from Unilever, Mars, Kellogg, General Mills, Nestle, New Belgium Brewing, Ben & Jerry’s, Clif Bar, Stonyfield Farm, and Dannon."

Some of us won't starve for lack of junk food.

Their letter went out right after they got a phone call from Obama’s Storm Troopers at the IRS saying, “Get serious about helping with this hoax or prepare for an anal examine.” Adolph would be proud!

“Unilever, Mars, Kellogg, General Mills, Nestle, New Belgium Brewing, Ben & Jerry’s, Clif Bar, Stonyfield Farm, and Dannon.”

Easy enough to boycott some of these companies. The first five are behemoths that own just about every OTHER little brand-name company below them.
