When you pit groups of people against other groups of people sooner rather than later nut cases will arise in the different groups that will try to make names for themselves.

Obama, and the Democratic Party. They actually started the fracturing of Americans into different groups, so they could play to their fears and or wants, before Obama was even a name on the radar.
