The big question is why.
My guess is alcoholism and depression.

That’s at least a good problem to have.

How can you not know the difference between the House and Senate? Cruz is a senator.

He’s resigning next month but he’ll get away with doing more harm to this country before he leaves I am certain.

Have to get the new pay raise first, common practice with government workers.

I think in the excitement you forgot that Cruz is in the Senate. But if he was in the House then yes.

Replacing one liberal for another is a valid concern I would have thought on a conservative forum. Dude, think "timing" and "in context." CONTEXT FIRST: The idea that we could run Boehner out of the speakership - that the base could run any establishment hack out of the Speakership or Majority leadership in the Senate- was considered absurd and undoable just a few weeks ago. This is evidence that we are winning versus the establishment, at least on some levels. Thus, this is very good news - regardless of who replaces him.
Because his replacement is not coming in - in a vacuum. Whoever replaces him will know damned well what got Boehner run off.
As to timing - it's really looking for the cloud and not the silver lining to have that negative reaction 3 minutes after we hear the news. Learn to accept good news for what it is, without requiring utopian sea changes all the time. This is a big step in the right direction. Are we there yet? Hell no, but this is a welcome development.

Who would replace him? Cruz? Oh, God Please, I pray. Then he can drop out of the Presidential race. He might be more usefull as Speaker than POTUS.
.
Ironic tagline you have.Might want to mention to Tenacious that Cruz is a Senator...Why dash hopes! LOL

Trent Franks. He has been in there long and has one of the highest conservative ratings in the congress.
Either Franks or Gohmert. If Franks ran, I doubt Gohmert would run against him.
