Okay, what do Catholics teach about, say, a Baptist who has been baptized by immersion in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit? In the Church or not?
I guess the truth hurts. Pray for your pope. He needs it.
The Catholic Church recognizes the baptism of a person baptized in the name of the Trinity. The Catholic Church recognizes all baptisms in the name of the Trinity.
In fact, the Catholic Church itself doesn't baptize anyone "Catholic." When you're baptized in the Catholic Church, you are baptized as a Christian, in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Please stop with the nonsense. We are having a great conversation here.
Oops. I read your post too quickly, and I assumed you must be a Baptist asking a question.
I see now that the question was rhetorical. My bad!
You are mad, dawg:)
“But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.” (2 Tim 2:23)
Pray for your pope. He needs it.
Thank you, Jesus!
