Glenn Beck's Clownish Apology to Sarah Palin
Sometimes people just crack up; sometimes ones pastalong with self-inflicted abuses interspersed over the course of said pastmanifest in forms of personal behavior widely considered inappropriate by more prudent, emotionally balanced members of civil society. Alcoholism is one of the numerous self-destructive avenues to achieve a lasting mental and emotional state of impaired perception.
The website Addiction Intervention describes effects of alcoholism translating into a loss of memory, difficulty with learning, poor judgment and loss of inhibition, crying jags, bouts of hysteria, and anger. While professional medical treatment may show at least some improvement in brain structure and cognitive functioning within a year of abstinence, lingering damage from addiction is not uncommon.
Non-drug related trauma may also have negative emotional and cognitive consequences, and oft-times results in anxiety. The website PsychGuides points out when a person has an anxiety disorder, they may feel fearful or uncertain almost all the time. According to the National Institute of Mental Health, the fear and anxiety that occur due to an anxiety disorder are markedly different than the brief episodes of these feelings that are commonly related to normal events, such as speaking at a public event or meeting a blind date.
Where is is tearful apology?
I’d rather listen to Puddles (Pity Party) - the sad clown with the golden voice - than Glen Beck any day!

Glenn has moved on. He’s got a brand new mission....
Glenn Beck explained his mission to relocate Syrian refugees fleeing ISIS into the United States, even if that requires facilitating their illegal entry and his imprisonment.

Anyone with half a brain should be somewhat anxious, given this chronically sad state of affairs around the world. If you are paying close enough attention to current events, it should be enough to drive the sanest person to seek escape and to find relief, however short-lived.
Was that Beck's response to a polite call from Palin?
In all seriousness, Beck at one time had a role to play in the conservative cause. But I can't see how anyone can take him seriously these days. He's more than an embarrassment, he's actually harming the cause.
Glenn, time to retire. Lay off the booze, quietly do some charity work, and go relax on some nice beach somewhere.
I previously stated that likely the years of alchohol and drug abuse have left Beck impaired. He has now gone out and found Mormanism and thinks he’s a Joseph Smith.
In addition Beck is furious because Sarah Palin and Donald Trump are palling around and now since Beck has been smack talking Donald he won’t come on the radio show.
Not from Palin, but from so other woman named Cathy in Mass. Here’s the call.

Glen Back jumped his biggest shark yet last week when he threw both Trump and Palin under the bus. Calling Trump the new Obama, and then dumping Palin because she pals around with Trump — where does it end? If the rest of us don’t “disavow” Sarah Palin, are we next under the bus?
Beck is really embarrassing. How he still has any audience at all, except for the morbidly curious, is beyond me.
I used to like Beck.
And even when I stopped liking him, he had my respect.
And even though I am not a Palin fan, I would never characterize her as a clown.
Now, I neither like nor respect him.
As I said before, Beck is all about letting in illegal aliens! Why?
I grew up on the MAD Magazine of the mid-to-late ‘60s thru the late ‘70s...half of it was kinda scary while the rest of it had me in stitches. I recently found a pile of them on eBay. Now that I’ve started reading them again, it’s like the world hasn’t really changed all that much.
Unlike Rush, Andrew Wilkow or even Hugh Hewitt, much of Glenn Beck’s radio show consists of banter on trivial subjects that quickly gets old. Today, for example, he went on and on about Bruce Jenner, about whom I couldn’t give two hoots, until I finally changed the station.
There was more truth in MAD than most other media.
I agree living in fear is a choice. Our lives here are so temporary, so much of value here and ahead of us. Every generation thinks their the ones who will witness the end.
I know my relatives who lived through WWII thought the world was coming to an end then too. Remember the claim of nukes ending the world in the ‘80s & 90s. Remember Y2K?
Remember the Mayan ca lander etc.....The world may be going downhill but we are much more than what we see around this world and we being here are temporary. Have faith. It really helps. I was a fan of Beck when he started but he has really lost it. That is too bad.
