Trump’s record says he became pro-life in 2011, (rape, incest life of mother pro-life)
I doubt he supported full term abortion just a year ago.
My guess is it is another error on the part of his detractors.
You might be a bit late to the party. NR started to veer off the conservative rails several years ago. Shortly after WFB’s demise. Actually I started to worry about WFB himself when he loudly and publicly condemned one of his own in his stable of writers as “contextually anti-Semitic” (Joe Sobran) after Mr. Sobran had been with the magazine 21 years.
So NRO specifically left out parts of the article they were quoting.
Sundance is bril.
Btw, Ted Cruz’s organization said they “do have a roadmap to victory” in response to Sundance’s sad assertion that the RNC specifically built the new RNC rules to get rid of Cruz or Palin.
Waiting to see if Cruz’s organization will post their “roadmap” before the debate or not.
If not, it’s unfortunately another tripwire alert for Sundance.
If you love partial-birth abortion & touch-back amnesty and you also happen to be an EFFING IDIOT...
...you just might be a Trumpian.
“My guess is it is another error on the part of his detractors.”
Actually it’s a bald faced lie.
The method so far is to misunderstand something he’s said.
The ‘fiorina’ face is a case in point. He was talking about the way she was presenting herself giving an answer to a negative question about Trump’s momentum.
nick will be apoplectic. Meanwhile today, Trump schmoozes with the Iowa State tailgate party sharing a couple of BBQ burgers with regular folks.
WHATEVA...
Yes and I think you do too.
At this point, I’d hardly care if in 2014 Trump had come out in support of almost any liberal cause.
The republic is dying. The libs are killing it, but guess who helps them? That’s right, the “conservatives” of the GOP!
You want to despise Trump for a former stance on abortion, when, as a private citizen, he could do little about it except write checks to politicians. I’m wagering it wasn’t a hot button donor issue for a guy focused on his empire.
Well how ‘bout that “conservative” Mitch McConnell, a man who could actually do something about it...it’s his job to do something about it, he was given power to do something about it. He did something today, he declared it was “futility” to defund Planned Parenthood, and this is only the latest in a long, long, and shameful list of outrages that have been either condoned or conducted by him and the other GOPe oligarchs.
You may dislike Trump, but remember that Mitch hates you if you are conservative, as do his masters, the big donors to Super Pacs. They only care about staying in power and growing government, and they trot out a conservative dog and pony show every once in awhile to keep us yokels in line.
They have been busy changing the rules to make sure they are there forever, and if they lose to a Democrat, it’s no big deal, because they ultimately don’t differ all that much on the big issues.
Trump may strike you as too liberal, a braggart, a phony, or refreshing. It doesn’t matter. Supporting anybody else at this point is asking for the entrenched uniparty to keep abusing you. Trump is the only way out of this abusive relationship that is going to put your freedom in the grave.
After he upsets that applecart, we can start looking for someone better, but if we say no thanks to Trump the GOPe will figure out ways to make sure that no more challenges like his are ever mounted.
There are no guarantees that Trump is the real deal, or that even if he is that he can fix the crooked system, but if he doesn’t get that chance it is guaranteed that the crooked system will fix it so us annoying voters are even more irrelevant than we are now.
Trump has awoken them to the fact that even us dullards will only take so much, and once Trump exposes them, if they defeat Trump they won’t even have to put on the dog and pony show anymore.
Great post!
Well, there was Teddy Roosevelt. It probably would have been as close to Trump for his time.
I don’t like to demand candidates post their intricate details. If you’ve got a guy saying happy-time comments and not really saying anything of substance, well sure. We should demand some substance. That would be my emphasis.
Cruz can reveal his plan in his own time. Trump will. So will others.
Seems to me that some calls are rather like gotcha moments. Those that oppose the candidate are hoping there is some bombshell in there they can exploit.
No, the Cruz camp volunteered their “nomination roadmap” because Sundance figured out RoveGOPe created the “beneath the 20 percent threshold for Jeb plus sixteen sold out candidates” roadmap in 2012/14 and now.
The Cruz camp were trying to counter Sundance’s sad assertion that Cruz had no chance for the nomination, and was not happy about how the numbers stacked up against him. But math is math. Until Trump.
Sundance is a conservative and didn’t want to figure out the GOPe Roadmap to 2016 Victory... but when he did, he realized Cruz had no chance for the nomination.
That’s why the Cruz people volunteered their “roadmap”. So I want to see it. Math is math.
Even Abe Lincoln was smart enough to have a by the numbers roadmap back in the day. It’s the foundation for all elections.
Sundance deconstructed the GOPe Rove roadmap by a series of secret “tripwires” he created for himself, tripwires that proved his theory.
So far, all his tripwires have tripped in the right direction and this is why the Cruz camp responded by volunteering to prove they have a roadmap for winning.
So let’s see. It isn’t magic or shadowboxing. It is math. Let’s see if they hand it over before the debate or if they were just bluffing. It’s not that big of a deal, it’s how campaigns are run, it’s not a huge secret.
The huge secret is what Sundance deciphered: he figured out what Rove RNC were up to with their rules changes that created that low threshold of popularity for Jeb.
Do you get it?
Okay. Thanks for the explanation.
Rove <<<<< the enemy
Yes. I read your other replay and it made sense.
Hate when that happens...
= :?)
Right. According to the GOPe Roadmap to 2016 Victory, Rove and the RNC created rules that would lock nominees like Cruz (or Palin) out of winning. This is the “splitter strategy” of using Huckabee and Rand and Walker to split the conservative vote with Jeb beating the splitters in each state.
And then Trump came along and trumpled their plans... Sundance’s calculations are so brilliant, Rush Limbaugh has even noticed:
http://theconservativetreehouse.com/2015/08/09/gope-2016-road-map-to-victory-tree-house-challenge/
a candidate who doesn’t need the GOP’s money and doesn’t care what they think is a scenario the elitist snobs of the RNC never imagined in their wildest dreams.
Not only is Trump the man to restore America but he’s also the one who will break the ruling class elitist uniparty, once and for all.
I will go so far as to say “Politics will never be the same again.”
