Crossover voters. They are an integral part of the Republican establishments plan to nominate Jeb Bush as their candidate for the presidency. This plan in a nutshell, well described by many, especially Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse, is as follows: 1.Change the rules of the nomination process so that the results of Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina do not give an outsider real momentum. 2.Utilize the Bush family connections to fund Super PACs beholden to the establishment, which will be used to ensure his win. 3.Use these Super PACs to fund splitter candidates in certain states to enable Jeb to win with as little as twenty percent or less of the vote. 4.Once Jeb wins the Florida primary and garners its ninety-nine electoral votes, promote him as the inevitable candidate whom all Republicans need to support. 5.As the splitters, paid for by the establishment PACs drop out, they endorse Jeb, enhancing his inevitability. 6.Count on an Operation Chaos where Democrat voters cross over and vote for Jeb Bush, thinking him the weakest candidate against Hillary Clinton. 7.Expect Republicans to hold their noses and vote against Hillary Clinton.
All in all, an admirable plan
to once again lose with honor.

Except many of the cross-over voters may go to Trump.
Hehe. We ignore him around here...
That’s the point of the article. You have to excerpt AT articles, otherwise I’d have posted it in full.
Well Done.
Thanks.
He has that populist message that really resonates with average Democrats, not the usual snotty nose liberal types. I think many Democrats are not going to be excited about what is on their plate and will eagerly crossover to vote for Trump. Trump is the only one who is enthusiastically addressing the massive exportation of American jobs and the importation of foreign labor competition. The Dems always mention jobs but they never deliver because they don’t really care. When they talk about jobs it is really code for government jobs which most people who are not politically connected do not get to participate in.
It is kind of ironic that both parties had nice, safe approved uniparty style, focus group tested candidates carefully lined up for years, and now each party has a disruptor who actually says what they believe and doesn’t change their message based on the prevailing wind or polls who is doing much better than the anointed.
You know you have struck a nerve when the entire DC establishment (dems AND gop) don’t even hide the fact that they’re pulling out all of the stops to try to take you out.
If Trump does manage to get elected, I would suggest that he shitcan the secret service, and keep his own personal bodyguards on the payroll.
If its a party primary why let in interlopers who could be Democraps.
And others that don't cross over will have to vote for hillary or they'll get Sanders.
The whole scheme is based on both parties having their unelectable-under normal-circumstances-nominees. The puppetmasters control the process, they control the election.
If you wrote for a far left newspaper, or MSNBC then he would be a fan. Since you are not one of them he despises you.
Basically he is are shill for the legacy press.
Except Hillary is flagging and Biden/Warren will be a factor.
See Mississippi as a recent example of GOPe treachery.
some very good points. The GOPe is in total meltdown mode....remember Blazing Saddles LOL.
Trump is now and will continue to do so listening closely to those that have a “feel” for the pulse of America. He isnt alone up there at the top. He has a top notch legal team and even better “advisors” who come from outside the political class.
Every time the GOPe tries some crap Trump will hit back twice as hard.
The rules are ALREADY in place to do this, “winner take all”. Unlike the Democrats, who proportion delegates by vote, almost all Republican states award all delegates to the winner.
This means that the establishment candidate “automatically” gets all the delegates in huge left-wing states like California and New York, states Republicans don’t have a chance of winning in November. That huge sweep of delegates is almost impossible to overcome.
To give a real life example, under Democratic rules Mitt Romney would have been AHEAD of McCain in delegates on the day in which, in real life under Republican rules, Romney dropped out of the race because he was so far BEHIND in delegates!
Trump could implement his own Operation Chaos in open primary states. More Democrats support him than any other Republican candidate, and a good many of them prefer him to Hillary.
