Ms. Davis is sitting in jail by her own choice. The battle over gay marriage(?) is not going to be won or lost because of her valid religious issues. She is certainly within her rights to refuse to support marring queers, but she needs to accept the consequences and resign her office.
I have two questions for you.
Are you aware of the argument why gay marriage is not a constitutionally protected right regardless what activist justices have claimed?
Are you also aware of the constitutional amendment that the courts seem to be ignoring with respect to Ms Davis being in jail?
Otherwise it doesn't matter. Resignation would be the easy way out. I don't blame anyone who chooses that path but I owe a debt to those who suffer to call attention to a fault they see in society.
In the military one of the worse things you can do (sans really good g2) is split your forces. Right now the battle is to get Trump (or Cruz) the GOP nomination. We just can not afford to get into battle with the left and RINOs over Kim. Huckabee is leading a skirmishing party for Kim, lets hope that goes well.
