How many 60-year-old black grandmothers are being shot by cops during traffic stops or walking along the street?
Might be something else involved.
Here’s an idea: Why don’t we have an impartial panel of randomly selected Americans from a wide spectrum of the population, sit them down with the files of people who have been characterized as being brutalized and/or treated unfairly by police.
We have them look at the files, including all the history on the people as well as the circumstances around specific incidents, and have them graded.
There are sure to be cases of people doing absolutely nothing wrong who were set upon by police. That has and always will happen.
But I am willing to bet that there is going to be a huge percentage of these where normal, law-abiding people would look at the history and circumstances and conclude these people weren’t just innocent people who were prosecuted by police because of their skin pigmentation, but will likely point to the file and wonder why this person was in the situation that led to their involvement with police in the first place.
But we see a lot of people who are willing-no...EAGER to throw their lot in with people like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin, cry police brutality, then when the facts come out, funny...you never hear from them again until the next criminal is killed by law enforcement, and they repeat the act all over again.
I fully expect it from the Media and liberals, but I don’t expect to see it on Free Republic. But we do.
