A mongoose is not an ordinary snake killer. A mongoose kills cobra’s. The feared hooded cobra’s. Mongoose always wins.

So, if we look at the Biblical perspective, ‘snake’ is equivalent to Satan. Dims are also equivalent to Satan (poetic license) :)

I think he is more honey badger than mongoose. Both kill cobras, and face down lions.
