During the August recess GOP senators were told to press for the passage of the TPP Trade Agreement. Yikes!!
Wikileaks has gotten their hands on a copy of Obama’s phony TPP trade bill. It contains 29 chapters but only 5 pertain to trade. Wikileaks will be publishing the entire bill and they have already released the chapter on Investment. It’s very interesting. It is written in a such a way as to give multinational companies a huge advantage on trade. If a public hospital is built close to a private one, the private hospital has the right to sue the country for expected losses. That is outrageous. Many of the provisions will not only be secret before the vote in the House, but will also be kept secret for four years after the bill is signed. That means we won’t know what’s in it even after it’s passed.

Cruz is the most conservative candidate in the race.
I think it can be shown that he is much more conservative than Trump or any other candidate.
I think the effort to tease out some conspiracy between him Obama, RNC elite is ridiculous.
Speaker of the House John Boehner recently explained he was glad that “jackass” Cruz was running for President because it kept him away from DC more.
No one has challenged GOP elite as effectively as Cruz. Honestly, watching this stuff on FR for multiple elections, its hard to believe that DEMS and other liberals are behind these meme constructions.
For those challenging Cruz on this thread, I have simple challenge:
There are 17 candidates running for the Republican nomination.
Which one would do better for our interests than Cruz?
this should not be a hard question. There are a lot of options.
I suspect that Cruz skeptics know they have no alternative that cannot be more effectively deconstructed for the cause of conservative puritanism than Cruz.
I support the statement that Cruz is the single most conservative candidate.
I also think that he cannot possibly pull the crossovers and independents necessary to win the Presidency.

I think t was bad enough that he voted for the earlier fast track authority. The Senators had to go to a special room to read the bill and couldn’t take notes. A true conservative would not have voted for a bill that was to be kept secret from the American people until it is passed.
We shouldn’t have to find out what is in it from WikiLeaks.
Convention is a year away. A lot can happen and change by then.

I haven’t been as gung ho for Cruz since this, especially since he tried to embarrass Senator Sessions by saying he didn’t have his facts right.
Jeff Sessions exactly had his facts right!.......Cruz was playing some kind of kabuki game, and it caught up to him, and he had to backtrack.
