just because someone who states God’s truth doesn’t live up to it, doesn’t make it not true.
Well said. God’s creation, man and woman, are if anything, human, and sinful, thus the need for God’s Son and his sacrifice in our behalf.
I encountered a verse the other night that struck me.
Romans 9:33
Jesus is the “stone of stumbling” that is an offense to those who are working out their own righteousness and salvation.
His existence and message are “your works are worthless, you need Me”.
Very offensive.
