Everyone loves a love story. And what makes a movie ever better is if is based on a true story. So what happens when you have a true love story and have it starring Chris Pratt?
You get the real life love story of Chris Pratt, in a case of art imitating life imitating art.
You see, Chris Pratt has made the public announcement that from this point forth, he refuses to participate in any movie love scenes.
Why? For two reasons.
One, he is married to the love of his life, comedy actress Anna Faris so he doesnt want to cheat on her even if its just acting.
And two: After having a child born prematurely Chris had an epiphany and renewed his faith in God.
So while this Guardians of the Galaxy stars future love scenes will be limited to an audience of one, his likely role as the next Indiana Jones will have millions of adorning fans. But theyll have to be satisfied with his somewhat nerdy, witty action hero persona, and not with a love scene that leaves little to the imagination.
Our hats off to Chris Pratt. May you be a example for others in Hollywood and in television to emulate.
Just another reason to love Chris Pratt.
I’ve seen Guardians at least a dozen times, and that intro is probably the best intro I’ve ever seen.
Good. I get tired of waching the time waster love / sex scenes that add nothing to the story. Now if they’ll just start removing GD from movies. I’ve watched Robert Duval in several Christian movies but when I see him in another movie and he’s say GD this and GD it’s offsetting. He needs to make a choice and not do both.
Agreed. I think I heard Neil McDonough say the same thing about not doing sex scenes.

Occurred to me years ago that in the future all these sex scenes will be viewed as an unfortunate embarrassment in the careers of otherwise good actors and actresses. Not to mention an embarrassment to a lot of movie goers.
No, he doesn't. He's an ACTOR.
Well, we can love him all we want, but he needs to quit acting, he can no longer do his job. Unless he just wants to make his own films.
Interesting that you have only been here a few days
and post only material from a single source.

So.. you “work” for this “Clean TV” outfit, huh?
You’re on a mission aren’t ya. Who do you work for?
I like Neil...but I don’t imagine that the producers are going to fight him too much on that. I’ve never seen him play anything but bad guys (except in BoB.)
The highest bidder.
he can still tell them to cleanup the script or decline the role.
He looks rather unadorned to me.
Seriously though, love scenes these days don't do anything for me - I'd rather just get on with the story, assuming there is one. Maybe it's just the perspective of age.
How is Pratt’s decision any different from NFL referee Mike Carey, who would not work games in DC because of the Redskins moniker? That never seemed to affect his employment status.
Good for him.
In most movies, the language, sex and violence is gratuitous anyway. It just makes what could be good viewing, awkward depending on who you’re watching with.
Body doubles.
Agreed, my thoughts exactly.
Look at what was done in Captain America by using cgi to put a slimmed down version of Chris Evans’ face onto a body double for the pre-serum Steve Rogers scenes. They’ll use the same tech so Star Lord can get it on with Gamora in GotG2.
I do respect the hell out of Pratt for this
