Hillary’s people have for some time now been riding this classic Clinton line with respect to classified information moving through her completely insecure homebrew e-mail server. She didn’t send or receive any e-mails that were marked classified at the time.
I’m having a flashback: It depends what the meaning of the word is is. If is means isn’t now and never was, then . . .
But remember, that’s Bill. He’s the guy who can steal your clothes and still sell you a cleaning ticket. Hillary is nowhere near as good at lying, which is funny because she doesn’t seem capable of making a truthful statement about anything. So when they tell you none of the e-mails were “marked classified at the time,” your first thought (or at least mine) is this: Do they regularly send around e-mails containing sensitive information and only after the fact decide to mark them classified? I’m in no way an expert here but just from a common sense perspective, that strikes me as a strange way of dealing with highly sensitive information.
Then again, maybe they weren’t “marked classified at the time” because someone illegally removed the classification marking in order to give Hillary plausible deniability. That’s what a Fox News source within the State Department thinks:

The Sec of State, like other cabinet officials, is delegated classification authority pursuant to Executive Order 12958. That classification authority is for all data, be that data received, stored, or transmitted.
If the data was classified and not so marked, she was negligent and in violation of the EO.
If it was marked classified and was not actually classified, she was negligent and in violation of the EO.
Further, see the “limitations” included in that Executive Order and further promulgated in the State Dept’s own classification guide. It is highly likely she was in violation of those limitations also. For example, simply classifying information that might be embarrassing.
Laws? What difference do they make.

By saying she didn’t send or receive any items that were “marked” indicates she knew exactly what she was doing. Her word play is actually exposing her guilt. She didn’t learn very well from Bill.
Now why on earth would anybody do that?

I have to admit that I don’t know how things work at the State Department and that I have a very low opinion of how they things do over there. My own experience tells me that moving documents from SIPRNET to any other system is complicated and is usually only authorized by a few people, most users cannot do it. Moreover, there is a paper trail when those document are moved, certifying that only the unclassified portions were moved. These people were jumping through hoops to get around the system and if they didn’t get something to cover their rear eads, they are really stupid.
From what I understand Hillary can’t use that excuse. A person in her position should reasonably have known they were top secret just by looking at them. For example, the FBI or whoever has them, knew they were top secret after looking at them even though the classification was deleted.

Always thought that was a very suspicious way of phrasing it. Now we know why.
Hillary KNEW that the documents she received were classified, but had the classification removed from the copies she was getting. That way, they were not marked classified at the time she received them.
And since she is Clinton, keep in mind she also said “sent”, meaning she sent them to someone who was not authorized to have them. She wasn’t sending them back to the State Dept., she was “spying”.
Yeah, HILLARY DID IT. “What difference does it make?” You remove the classifications and THEN you can keep that info. on your nonsecure, private email server. THIS is how LIE-berals think!
She never said she did not know they were classified. She said they were not marked classified at the time she received or sent them.
I just want to know who she sent them to, and i imagine there is more than one agency furious looking into that right about now
Secretary of States KNOW what’s Top Secret and what isn’t. Her claim that she “didn’t know” is hogwash. She might as well admit she’s not qualified to be SOS let alone POTUS. Now, she’s FORBIDDEN FROM HOLDING SAID OFFICES BECAUSE OF THESE CRIMINAL ACTS.
I guarantee you that China, Russia, Iran and ???? has seen ALL of the emails on her server, Top Secret and all.
She wasn’t “storing” them, she was sending them to someone, after taking great pains to receive them with the classification removed.
In fact, it looks like she was trying to figure out how to delete them permanently so as not to be caught.
P.S. She CANNOT hold high office because she is surely to be blackmailed with her server emails by China, Russia, Iran, etc.. No way no how can she take office.
If I were to think of the most benign interpretation, HRC did not want to drive to the office and sit in a small, dark room for many hours, reading top secret documents. She wanted to read what she needed to read on her cell phone, wherever she is. She did not want to be at a party and receive a phone call like "Come to the office, there is a report you need to read right away." She had probably received such calls a few times, and then started demanding that the staffer emails her the relevant portions of it.
How can you delete them if you’re not storing them? If someone is hacking your email server it does not matter how long the email is there. It’s compromised no matter how long it was there. End of story.
Huma Abedin was on staff at the state department and had high level clearances. Couldn’t she have accessed her state department email and somehow copied the classified documents, then sent them to Hillary from a non-gov account?
Another plausible explanation is that Hillary had a flunky at state who sanitized the documents so that they could be sent outside the SCIF.

Well apparently they do or Hillary wouldn’t be using that as her defense...which she is.
Saying “she should be able to tell” or whatever isn’t going to matter...so Hillary and her Legal are simply setting up other people to take her fall....it’s the Clinton Way...
