Billionaire presidential hopeful says it’s a protest against immigration.

When you’re Donald Trump, another rescinded corporate partnership is nothing if not an opportunity to galvanize your supposedly growing base of political supporters.

The billionaire real estate mogul, reality-television personality, and Republican presidential hopeful has spent the past week taking Twitter pot-shots at Macy’s after the department store chain severed ties with Trump and his line of menswear amid the uproar over Trump’s recent derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants.

On Monday, Trump — who, last week, gleefully pointed out on Twitter when Macy’s stock had fallen by less than 0.5% — tweeted out a claim that his supporters have been cutting up their Macy’s credit cards “as a protest” against the U.S. government’s stance on immigration....

It is election season. They come out in droves. Wait until the bots show up in every thread, posting reams of propaganda for or against certain candidates, try to browbeat other posters, and cause all kinds of trouble -- to the point that many of them will get banned.

Macy’s can indeed die out.

I wouldn't be surprised. First thought may be that they are too big, too old, a standard, or [insert whatever]. But honestly, I remain mystified as to why anyone shops there for anything. I've tried. The women's clothing is junk, both in quality of fabric and design. The rest of what they peddle, I can get at TJ Maxx or online.

The JCrews, Ann Taylors, and Banana Republic's of the world have them beat by leaps and bounds.

It’s kind of ironic but my friend Macy closed her Macy’s account on Friday! She buys her Estee Lauder makeup through Macy’s and is now looking to buy it somewhere else.
