Billionaire presidential hopeful says it’s a protest against immigration.
When you’re Donald Trump, another rescinded corporate partnership is nothing if not an opportunity to galvanize your supposedly growing base of political supporters.
The billionaire real estate mogul, reality-television personality, and Republican presidential hopeful has spent the past week taking Twitter pot-shots at Macy’s after the department store chain severed ties with Trump and his line of menswear amid the uproar over Trump’s recent derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants.
On Monday, Trump — who, last week, gleefully pointed out on Twitter when Macy’s stock had fallen by less than 0.5% — tweeted out a claim that his supporters have been cutting up their Macy’s credit cards “as a protest” against the U.S. government’s stance on immigration....

The truth is the truth. And as far as border issues go he has been on target. But he is so far left still he does not deserve conservative support for the Republican nomination.

We cut up our Macy’s credit cards back in 2008 when my daughter’s trio sang Christmas carols there and they were told that they were not to perform “Silent Night”.

What you don’t get is that illegal immigration is the number one issue for tens of millions of middle/working class Americans. Trump had the guts to tackle that issue head on. No one else took up the issue. Trump did, Trump has made illegal immigration the a center piece of his campaign and in doing so he now has the support of tens of millions of Americans including me.
You know absolutely nothing about me and if you did, you would know how incredibly ignorant that comment was.
I live in East San Diego County, closer to the US/Mexico border than most anyone here. Before the border fencing was built in San Diego ILLEGALs would trek through my yard, pick fruit from my trees, fill their jugs from my garden hose, try to break in to my garage and all out buildings; they have tried to break into and hotwire my vehicles. I worried constantly that they would accost my wife while I was not at home. I am a general contractor; ILLEGAL aliens have all but destroyed my business. I won't hire them but my competitors do making it nearly impossible for me to bid competitively against them. Even when I do, wages have been depressed and I have to pay my loyal employees less today than I did years ago. So don't tell me I don't get how ILLEGAL immigration is a number one issue for tens of millions of middle and/or working class Americans. No one knows about that more than I do. I just KNOW Trump is a lifelong liberal democRAT and I don't trust liberal democRATs. Get it?
