The 10 Most Pervasive Lies About Conservative America

1) Conservatives are racist! Nonsense. Conservatives welcome all races and colors in our quest to defend our founding ideals. Likewise, we unilaterally reject divisive victimization propaganda used to incite animosity and discord along racial and economic lines. Although there are racist elements in all facets of America, such endeavors are intrinsically destructive and invite future bigotry upon yourself and peers. Why else would “racist” Republicans support Allen West, Ben Carson, Mia Love, and Marco Rubio, let alone embrace the lives and transcendent wisdom of Booker T. Washington, Martin Luther King Jr. and Thomas Sowell? Not supporting Barack Obama’s Marxist agenda doesn’t make anyone racist; it makes you principled and self-aware.

2) Conservatives are sexist! Naturally, because conservatives don’t have mothers, wives or daughters, let alone care about their well being! We decry discrimination against any gender, detest violence against women in any form, and support equal rights and pay for all women. Conservatives merely despise new age feminism which invents injustice where none exists – psychological trauma inflicted by patriarchal images, loud clapping noises, or male opposition to dyed armpit hair – basically ensures reverse discrimination by making absurd accusations and inane demands to the detriment of society.

3) Conservatives are “extremists”! This is nothing more than demagoguery, media driven distortion, to demonize our values in order to justify “progressive” policies that are not consistent with our laws, or better yet, common sense. Supporting those ideals America was founded upon – liberty, limited government, God, accountability and duty – doesn’t make us “extreme” in any sense of the word. It makes liberals ignorant, shamelessly deceptive, and innately radical for opposing these Constitutional precepts; the supreme law of the land.

4) Conservatives oppose immigration! Hardly. America was founded as a beacon of hope for all races, creeds and colors. On the contrary, we merely reject “illegal” immigration. Not supporting our immigration laws, protocols every civilized nation enacts and enforces, is a slap in the face to every man, woman and child who immigrated to America legally, not to mention those 3,000 victims who died in 9/11. Abandoning our borders, not shielding citizens from criminally and medically unvetted threats, is a dereliction of duty and a clear and present danger to our country. Encouraging, dare I say “engineering”, illegal immigration solely to win elections and rewrite our founding principles is nothing short of treason. All are welcome who respect our sovereignty and complete the process afforded by law. Perhaps someday liberals will understand this “revolutionary” concept.

5) Conservatives are gun fanatics! Like our forefathers, we unequivocally embrace people’s right to defend themselves against all forms of tyranny; Thomas Jefferson’s most profound reason for preserving our right to bear arms. Rather than addressing the moral erosion consuming our communities - an endeavor Hollywood has worked overtime to achieve by mocking our religious values - progressives are exploiting national tragedies to justify their ongoing quest to repeal the Second Amendment. Not only is gun confiscation historically the final lynch pin to uncontested subjugation, Gun control does little to deter those who truly want to harm others; after all, both the Oklahoma City Bombing and 9/11 were carried out without a single shot being fired. Firearms deter crime and save far more lives than the soulless exploits of any disturbed individual. Because these mass shootings rarely occurred 50 or even 25 years ago, it’s obvious parents, schools and our government have failed to instill our children with the proper morals and necessary respect for their fellow man. Leaving decent, law-abiding Americans helpless against thugs, terrorists and unscrupulous politicians, is never the answer.

6) Conservatives hate the poor! Ridiculous! One of the benefits of living in a nation as blessed as America is our financial resources. All people struggle, need help time to time, and there is no shame in that; Americans are a compassionate and generous people. Conservatives oppose those proud parasites who view welfare as a career opportunity, conspire incessantly to defraud the system, when they should view such resources as a stepping stone to reclaim their life. Exploiting a system that has watched both public assistant recipients and the national debt nearly double since 2008, is a slap in the face to all hard-working taxpayers and families who struggle with real disabilities. No economic system is perfect, but capitalism is most synonymous with liberty and provides the greatest opportunity for upward mobility to those who relentlessly seek it. Everyone must work!

7) Conservatives are religious radicals! Yet again another baseless propaganda ploy designed to insight fear, hate and paranoia at the expense of dispelling dangerous misconceptions. America, Western Civilization, was founded upon Judeo-Christian ideals; a fact liberals malicious muddle, twist and insistently attempt to discredit. Opposing abortion – the death of a human being even in its most glorified state – or rejecting Gay Marriage – an exponential threat to the traditional family paradigm and the "religious" institution of marriage – hardly makes us agents of hate or the equivalent of Islamic fanatics; those extremists who deny women basic human rights and kill gays for merely existing. As diehard Constitutionalists, Christian conservatives advocate the tolerance off all competing beliefs, or lack there of. What we absolutely refuse to condone is empowering those ideologies that violate people’s natural born rights, i.e. Sharia Law, or threaten our founding values to the debasement of our culture and our national ethos. Not all laws are just or justified; not all boundaries are meant to be broken.

8) Conservatives are war mongers! Yes, of course, conservatives do not have fathers and mother, brothers and sisters, and sons and daughters. Like all Americans, we detest war and view it as an absolute last resort of recourse. That being said, we do not live in a world were evil does not exist and we can rely on the unwavering good nature of our fellow man. To unconditionally reject military intervention regardless of the prevailing circumstances is the equivalent of watching a rape across the street and doing nothing about it. Frankly, when did we stop caring? America is better than that! The question all liberals should be asking themselves, and that of the entire civilized world, is why aren’t more nations and leaders taking a stand against mass injustice and depravity? No, America cannot be the savior of the free world or right all wrongs. We simply must refuse to be the doormat of tyranny and criminal apathy.

9) Conservatives hate the environment. I’d love to indulge this popular progressive fairytale, but we too drink from the sources of water, breathe the same air, and educate our children about the ravages of pollution. Rather, conservatives reject using sensationalist science as a shameless guise to implement unnecessary regulations, collect more taxes, solely to expand government and claim more austerity over our everyday lives. The same bureaucrats who can’t balance their checkbook, protect our borders, or give the people a straight answer, want to tell you what to eat and drink out of the goodness in their hearts. No, right-minded Americans don’t reject science, anything but, for we eagerly embrace its universal necessity. Too bad liberals didn’t get that memo because 8 years ago Al Gore proclaimed the Arctic ice shelf would cease to exist, while the liberal media predicated New York would now be under water due to the unavoidable fallout of climate change.

Ironically, glacier coverage of the planet is now as prominent as it was 20 years ago and Yankee games are still being played in front of sold out crowds not wearing floaties. As a firm believer in empirical data, i.e., reputable science, conservatives don’t reject the existence of global cooling and warming; we merely view them as natural climatic cycles that far outweigh the foolish endeavors of man. After all, one of the hottest years ever recorded in our nation’s history occurred in the 19th century: pre-industrialized America. Believe it or not, more conservatives live off the land, use it for recreation, and tirelessly work to protect and preserve the source of their greatest blessing…their preferred way of life. Protecting our environment against corporate and individual corruption is not negotiable; listening to those politicians who manipulate scientific data for political and financial gain is entirely optional.

10) Why do liberals endlessly attack, belittle, and demonize conservatives? As the embodiment of the timeless ideals America was founded upon, conservatives pose the biggest threat to their rogue agenda. Progressivism cannot survive without using distortion, inciting division, hatred and discord, to conceal the truth from low information voters – those so easily cajoled by sensationalist propaganda - or to engage those individuals hopelessly compromised by leftist academia. Any ideology counter-intuitive to the Constitution – Statism, Socialism, and Marxism – is inherently radical and a threat to our way of life. If our critics may, how are any of these philosophies synonymous with our founding creed? Historically speaking, one must work far more diligently to protect a lie, than to simply speak on the behalf of truth. Conservatives believe, and freely attest, man's natural born rights are solely derived from a divine creator and not the benevolence of Big Government; those individuals merely entrusted with ensuring our God-given liberties to the betterment or oppression of all mankind. America, those brave men and women who sacrificed, toiled and died to ensure a beacon of liberty, hope and opportunity for all humanity, is an enduring testament to that indelible belief.

Why do liberals attack conservatives?

I think it’s because they want to embrace their selfish desires and not be told it’s not right. Deep down they know the things they do are wrong but don’t want even a reminder. So they must destroy all that is good, switch the definition of good and bad...then they can feel better about themselves.

This is what we’re seeing. They’ll always try to, hypocritically, use Christian teachings against Christians - even though they distort and take out-of-context the meaning. The phrase “do not judge” is always used, while at the same time judging and demonizing Christians in the same breath.

I do think the internet is accelerating culture. People can live in a vacuum and only read what they agree with, like minded people all saying the same lies to the point where they actually believe them. Apparently, our traditional values are extremist. They claim we’re moving more to the right (and of course everything violent is “right wing”), except we’re not. They’re moving further left which leaves the perception that people opposed to them are more extreme. The left has become so extreme, they’re practically foaming at the mouth with hate towards Christians - while claiming the hate is on the other side so their actions are justified (the “I won’t tolerate the intolerant” irony).

We must be patient, the insanity will eventually expose itself...but there’s no stopping it.

Exactly. I was at dinner a week or so ago and was sitting close enough to the table next to me to hear their conversation. One of the people at that table was saying that if America was still conservative then why did liberals keep winning.
The folks at the next table were obviously liberals and said that even Republican electoral victories didn’t stop America going from left and that it was gaining speed.
They used gay marriage as an example and the recent back pedaling of Indiana and Arkansas.

I heard this crap all the time from leftists while in Minnesota. And when they found out That I had lived in Texas for 12 years, it was time for the two minute hate. Here in Houston (yes, I have returned home), there are cattle stampedes and shootouts all the time in Downtown. And every Saturday night there is a cross burning in front of City Hall. Yep, people in Minnecraponus actually believe that. They must have gotten it from watching MSNBC.
