He’s in his late 70s, retired well over 20 years ago. Disaffection would be a few senior officers in their 50s resigning from the military and running for Congress, specifically citing out of control Executive and Judicial Branches.
It’s warning from our military to the usurper and traitor. The Ret. General is simply the messenger.
As per your post, Rome went imperial in fits and starts.
America did much the same, but did it almost overnight in 1913.
Is this man an indication of an early sign of military disaffection?
I retired in 2013 from the military. Believe me there is a large amount of military personnel that are very dissatisfied with Obama. But how many of those are willing to engage in open opposition of the administration I couldn’t say for sure. One big problem is that there is a large portion of the military (younger crowd) that joined purely for the benefits and those are the ones we all need to worry about. They are clueless and will follow orders because they are afraid of losing what they’ve got. I told all my Soldiers that their oath is to the Constitution NOT the President and if they are ever given an order that contradicts the Constitution they are to refuse to follow it.
The next election will tell the tale.
If another communist is elected there will be revolt in the ranks.
