Some say nothing will happen immediately before, or after, the September Blood Moon (which also happens to be a "Super Moon" where the moon is closest to Earth geometrically and will be 26% larger than a conventional moon) - just a coincidence.

No; it won't.

My apolgies. It will be 14% larger in area and 30% brighter. However, since the numbers are of significance, I must point out that the actual numbers are 14.2409874% larger in area and 30.3659817% increase in brightness, for a "moon effectiveness factor" of 22.30348455%.
