Donald Trump deserves our attention and our vote
Coach is Right ^ | 6/19/15 | Suzanne Eovaldi

As things stand now, Donald Trump will be getting my vote for President. Now a lot can happen, a lot can be said, a lot of media Trumpattacks can be hurled. But the man is the only one up there that I think can re-make America, close our Southern Border, restore our Military, return jobs to America and stop our race to the bottom. He’s paying for his run himself; he’s outside of the Washington swamp; he’s the plain speaking, larger than life candidate who presents actions that back up his words. He knows how to handle the media, something no other GOP candidate can do.

Keep in mind that Fox and the rest of the news peddlers merely parrot the talking points given them by their CEO’s who all are part of America’s vast, interlocking, media-entertainment swarm. Media will tell us who they want us to support, not who is best for our country or for us. They want what’s best for them, namely a Hillary or another Bush. Is that what we really want now– a third Bush or a third term for President Clinton, the impeached husband calling Hillary’s every move?

Another commenter spoke to the one real issue on many minds: “If Trump Builds a Border Fence, that is MORE IMPORTANT than [the promises of] any candidates combined!” On a recent Nat Geo program about the Border patrols in the Laredo, TX area, one appalling scene showed a “Stash” house, that is a way station where human traffickers stash, or park, Hispanic law breakers entering the USA illegally. A whopping 68 men from Central America and Mexico were lined up side by side along walls, in tiny spaces; one was even hiding in a kitchen cabinet.

Another raid showed Border Patrol drug busters hauling in...

You could have gone to RCP and looked at the polls (they have them all) in the time it took you to answer me. I don’t care.

Many of you said he never really was going to run, and then he announced. Now you say he won’t file his financial returns when he says they will be filed without delay. I believe him. Wanna bet he does?

how’a he gonna return jobs to America ...

His proposal is to impose a tax on goods that are imported by American companies that moved the production out of America so they could pay coolie wages. Would that work? Not sure. But it’s worth discussing, and no other GOP candidate has a plan even to discuss.

“He’s playing a huge joke, and having a great time doing it.”

He’s also getting a lot of panties in a bunch. Very entertaining to watch him tweak millions at once. I hope he keeps it up.

Heresy! Heresy! How dare you not bow low before the annointed candidate, St. Rafael of Houston, Patron Saint of globalists and hustlers!

“Which is why Cruz went from 12% when he announced to 6% now?”

Oooooh. That’s nasty. Using poll numbers to show that St. Rafael of Houston isn’t quite so popular among the peasantry.

If someone’s panties bunch up on account of Donald Trump, I’d say they need to vastly raise their standards.

Enjoy being suckered.

Trump isn’t Perot-—he’s not mental like Ross. He isn’t trying to put Hillary in office. He deserves our respect if nothing else. He has some good ideas (so did Perot). Listen to him and pop the popcorn. He will make the debates great. Will I vote for him? Lets see.

I’m interested. I like his crass old-fashioned capitalism. I like his business acumen. I like how he rattles everyone else. I like how he’s proud to be American and wants America to be great again. I like that he wants to stop the invading hordes of gimmedats. I like how he doesn’t care about what all the royals in D.C. think of him. Yeah. I’m interested. I’ll be watching him. Everyone else except Cruz and “maybe” Carly (I know, I know) puts me to sleep.

Well said. I was a Cruz supporter until he went rogue on this trade deal crap. We need to fast track a trade deal like a hole in the head. Carly says the right things but she hasn't had the public persona long enough to make me believe she will do as she says. I do think she will make an excellent Vice President if she can continue to defend her positions through out the campaign.

I cut Trump a lot of slack because it's difficult to be a business man at his level. But I have never known him to tackle a big project and not deliver the way he said he will.

From the way the Republicans in congress have been acting we end up with Hilary light no matter who we pick. Trump is the only one saying he will stand up to the Chinese, the Border, and the enemies of America.

>> Trump changes parties frequently.

I respectfully disagree.

Trump has been in the same party — the Trump Party — for as long as I have known him.

He does frequently change party disguises though. I’ll give you that. :-) Currently he is disguising himself as a Republican.

Well Trump has tackled a lot of big projects, but not in the political realm. That’s pretty much an unknown. If some of his business savvy translates to politics, dealing with people and such, he may do okay. The next several months will be interesting. I’m not totally sold on him, or anyone yet - they will all have ample opportunities to hang themselves and being GOP candidates, the media will be trashing them non-stop.

Fortunately the Hildabeast has SO much baggage, the right can give as good as it gets - if they have the guts.

It’s a loong way to 2016.

I welcome the discussion of tariffs, because it may educate the children who have a shallow understanding and think it’s a magic bullet. A good discussion might educate some folks.

Also, give this “he’s the only one” bullshit a rest please - every single plan to roll back Obama Care, to roll back taxes, to fight unions, and to reduce regulations ARE JOBS PLANS.....because it’s those factors, more than wages, that drive jobs offshore. It’s THOSE factors that make the workers here too expensive for some companies. If you had ever had to meet a payroll, you would know that.

Obviously you’ve never met a payroll.

If you are not intelligent enough to understand that, then you and I are not on the same IQ plane. There is a huge gap in our understanding of economics. Which may be the case.

It may be broadly understood, but I will proudly align with those who realize this is a mis-understanding. It was once broadly understood that the earth was flat. It was once broadly understood that Obama would help race relations. It was once broadly understood that the US was running out of oil and gas.

History, ancient and current, is replete with broadly accepted bullshit.

Currently he is disguising himself as a Republican

Then he fits right in with most of the crowd who are disguising themselves as a conservative ... not all, but most of them.
