The 2015 Womens World Cup in Canada is the biggest tournament ever for womens soccer.
Expanded to 24 teams for the first time in history, the action begins on Saturday, June 6 and the final is on July 5. It promises to be a spectacular month of soccer north of the border.
... Below is a look at the day-by-day schedule for each group game, including where you can watch the games in the U.S. on TV, followed by the schedule for the knockout stages. All times listed are Eastern Time.

The US is no longer the favorite to win the Women's World Cup
The change U.S. coach Jill Ellis should make to jumpstart the American attack
United States women's national team has been replaced by Germany as the favorite heading into the quarterfinals
You don’t need a lot of offense if your defense can keep the ball out of the net. The USWNT has been an impressive powerhouse so far in the tournament. It will be interesting to see if Ellis changes any of that to try and get more scoring.
The primary criticism of her predecessor was the lack of quality defense and poor defensive play has cost the team in earlier cups.
If any changes are in store - I doubt they will be made for the China game.
On a different topic for Berlin_Freeper - does a player qualify for a cap by simply playing in a world cup game, or do they have to be a starter?
Love the World Cup!
I think USA is going to do well against China because their attack seems weaker and of defense is stronger. Hope Solo really stepped up.
Quarter Final games are going to be Amazing!
I am stocked up with Red Bull and really looking forward. :)
About caps, it seems appearance is what counts because that makes them Cap-tied.

"They know what they have to do. It's their World Cup. They have taken themselves through to the quarterfinals. Now, it's up to them. They have the determination. It's also important, because there are women who are coming to the end of their national team careers, and they know full well it's now or never."
"They need to be ready for physical combat, they need to be focussed on detail and to have no regrets at the end," said Bergeroo at the team`s pre-match press conference."A steamroller, it`s true Germany will exert huge physical pressure. We have other qualities but in the first 20 minutes we`ll have to be very present in the duels," he continued.
