By comparison, it was about 4 years after he was sentenced to death that Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh was executed. That's about 1,450 days. That is also a far shorter time than before most death sentences are carried out.
So, for today's contest, you are invited to guess the date (XX/XX/XXXX) that Tsarnaev is no more.
Person who comes closest without going over wins.

Massachusetts doesn't have the death penalty so Szarnaev will likely spend the rest of his life in prison despite the millions of dollars in taxpayer funded monies defending his expected appeals.
The only solution I can see is if someone were to set up a "Go Fund Me" account and establish a fund to pay the family of any inmate incarcerated with Szarnaev who is willing to kill him...........

I'm not good at guessing things like this. I think it might depend on where Tsarnev will be held. If he's isolated from the general population, he could live another 40 or 50 years. If he's put with all the gangbangers and drug lord types, his life span will be a lot shorter.

Never, he gets killed by an inmate.

It only took 4 years to nuke McVeigh. But that was then.

He is a Muslim so I expect Obama to excuse him just before he goes out of office. So my answer would have to be the 10th of Never.

January 20th, 2066; Second Term Inaugural Address of President Natasha de Blasio, nee “Sasha Obama”.
“I will show human compassion by proposing to commute the life sentence of Svetlana “Katie” Tsarnaev, formerly known as Dzhokhar Tsarnaev who was born a male.
Svetlana, now 77 and with disabling dementia, will be sent back to Russia with her court ordered Minder.”

Since it’s far left tree hugging Massachusetts and I’m 71 years old I will not live to see him die.

He will either be murdered by a fellow inmate within 4 years or die of old age.

Never. He will never be executed but released in about 10 years.
To: ken5050
His sentence will be commuted by the president.

Considering Richard Alan Davis who murdered Polly Klaas and Scott Petterson who murdered Laci Peterson are STILL on death row after all these years, I figure this terrorist schmuck is going to be enjoying some free Govt meals for a long time..wish they would execute his ass tomorrow but it never works out that way
To: ken5050
I think Tsarnaev will die much sooner than everyone thinks...
His lawyer admitted in court that he committed the crime, and of course there’s literally video of him planting the bombs...there is NO grounds for appeal based on guilt or innocence. It comes down to whether or not the death penalty is appropriate in this case, and whether or not all the i’s were dotted and t’s were crossed in the process.
I don’t see any judge giving the defense a leg to stand on-—it would be an automatic career ender. Short of a pardon or commutation by POTUS, this scum will get the hot shot in 5-7 years.

It should be tomorrow but I don’t think they can get him here to Indiana that fast....First of all the attorneys have to discuss among themselves how much government money that they can extract from this situation.....it will be millions....then the meaningless appeals...probably at least three....then, maybe....unless the Democrats are in power, they will off this POS....I’d guess.....say....7-4-2019....Independence day...
