Attack of the UniParty: What to Do?

Reagan showed us the way: Time for constitutional conservative true grit in the face of an entrenched establishment hierarchy instead of blind, emotional party allegiance to a Progressive RINO Establishment

Republican Party loyalists are having a tough time of it lately; a consequence of one sellout after another at the hands of the Republican-held House and Senate leadership. Perceptive Republicans are used to it: they’ve had to march a long, tough slog since Ronald Reagan departed the Oval Office.

The Loretta Lynch nomination to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General sailed smoothly through, after a cooling-off period; House Majority Leader John Boehner regularly surrenders his power of the purse – constitutionally designated to the House – like clockwork; sacred promises by the Republican leadership to impede and deconstruct King Barry-Care have a substance of phantoms; backroom deals are arranged to support Amnesty; motions are filed by the House General Council specifically to thwart a Securities and Exchange Commission investigation into violations of the STOCK Act, a bill intended to curb insider trading by lawmakers and their staffs; the Senate abrogates their constitutional duty to debate US Treaties (Iran going nuclear, for example), on and on, issue after issue, ad nauseam.

A century-old attack on the US Constitution continues; a stealth assault by two corrupt, cooperative, ideological interests working together (those being Democrat and Republican Progressives, as well as King Barry and his Progressive Marxist Chicago mafia) to diminish, control, and selectively enforce the US Constitution (the Progressives), or torch it to a cinder with the intent of cultural and economic devastation, resulting in ultimate collapse of the United States of America (the Progressive Marxists): ideologues ever in pursuit of an undefined, unexplained, unknown distant Utopia.

What to do about the uniparty?

That’s something I’ve thought about for a long time. And I don’t like the answer I keep coming up with: Very Little. The uniparty has a lockhold on the political system and I see no one or group that has the willingness or ability to challenge it. Even if there were a viable strategy to dislodge the current uniparty, I suspect that the price to pay would be incredibly steep. Only for us to see a new and improved uniparty come about within 10 years anyway.

And asking what to do about the uniparty is really the wrong question to ask ourselves. I think a more relevant question to ask is if we are of caesar, or are we of God? Because caesar is going to do what caesar is going to do and doesn’t give even the slightest damn what we think about it.

Allow me to forward the somewhat radical notion that the Uniparty simply goes away without two things. Cash and votes. So...

Stop voting for uniparty candidates
Stop giving your money to people who fund uniparty candidates.

And if that means giving up your favorite twinkie, TV show or Football team, decide if your pleasure is more important than your country. Then do that.

It’s not rocket surgery folks.

You’re right. Its not rocket science: we should give neither money nor votes to the uniparty.

Where I differ is on whether that will ultimately result in the uniparty’s demise. I don’t see that it will.

Math is math. With no votes or money how would a uniparty function? None of them do it for kicks. Its about money and power. Remove the money and power and whats left? When they reform under another banner as they always will Rinse and Repeat. Thats why the Founders said be ever vigilant.

Its also basic economic theory. Make anything too expensive and people don’t buy it. Make the cost of ‘uniparty’ too expensive for a pol to associate with. Cost being ‘you are not getting my votes or money, directly or backdoored.

Love it! {^) Exactly!!!

In seriousness, good point about Uniparty "going away" without a few things.

Another way to neuter the Uniparty is to simply go around it and aggressively establish a Second Party. Doing so makes the Uniparty impotent. But that is too radical for still too many -- they remain tethered to Republican or Democrat, kept in place by their fear of "third party" risk either way. Yet the risk actually is on a SECOND party.

By 2016, Americans may well be crying for one, but too scared to take it because it's wearing a "third party" costume.

In a general sense, it’s really the same thing, just unspoken.

I have had a few people lately that commented about some of the tings I’ve said as being on the angry or extreme side.

Guilty.

I understand that. I am angry. Damn angry. I think anyone that isn’t probably needs to be or they need to pay more attention. Not to me. To the situation.

As for the extreme charge, well, is it REALLY extreme for us to actually do the math on this stuff and enact the solutions we find? How extreme is it to actually enact a solution like say, NOT funding the people that want you gone?

This is a war. A political one, but a war none the less and it should be addressed as one. Most people don’t want to do that because that means actually having a plan, sticking to it come hell or high water and losing some friends along the way. So whats more important to people? Their feel good or their principles? Do they want to win the war or redefine Win” and “War” so they can just keep living in Groundhog Day?

After EVERY SINGLE ELECTION the right goes through the same dance steps. They swear ‘never again”, they stomp their widdle feetses and then proceed with stage two. Forming and spreading excuses as to why we need a moderate to advance conservatism and fight the dreaded Democrats. Finally, the election gets here, they revert to coward mode, attack their own people who DO stand for principled conservative governance and then vote for A N Y O N E the GOP hands them.

None of that is arguable. We all live that every election.

Serious question folks. Anger or nor, Extreme or not, serious question. Do we want conservatism as a guiding light for America or Lesser evil moderates/liberalism.

YES OR NO. Do equivocating, no “But” no anything. YES OR BO.

If you want conservatism, you will fund it, support it, defend it, fight for it and vote for it. If you don’t, then please explain why you call yourselves a conservative. Embrace whatever you are and leave us to our own devices.

If you CAN’T do that, then your agenda is pretty obvious.

Yup. Math is math. And some unfortunate math is that the cronies of the uniparty can adequately fund the uniparty even if not another dime from conservatives was ever sent their way. Threats to not send money to the uniparty are meaningless when they’re already rolling in cash. Take a look at Jeb! if you want an example.

Votes are a bit different. But as mittens so aptly noted, just shy of a majority of the populace is already beholden to the welfare state. A politically boneheaded comment on mittens part that highlighted an unfortunate truth. Add to that just shy of a majority the ever increasing number of immigrants and you can easily see where the votes for the uniparty in perpetuity come from.

The middle class in general and conservatives in particular are being replaced with a more pliant population.

I’m not advocating sitting under a rock. And I actually will be involved with the Cruz campaign. Just not because I have some hope of a conservative renaissance. The reason I’ll be there is the relations to be built with like minded conservatives that are going to be of paramount importance in coming years.

Sure, but the point is that you don’t spend your cash with the people funding them either. Then THEY stop funding them as well.

There;s nothing we have or do that can’t be replaced by something made by someone not directly funding RINOs. RINOs simply are not that popular. Or that we cannot POSSIBLY do without.

It takes effort. But it can be done. Even if you don’t go full Soup Nazi on it, several million people acting in even loose concert can financially hurt even apple.

Pain works. Always.

I am angry. Damn angry. ... How extreme is it to actually enact a solution like say, NOT funding the people that want you gone? This is a war. A political one, but a war none the less ...

Yet when this political war is supposed to transpire in Republican primaries, Gentlemen's Rules keep kid gloves on among about two dozen candidates. Mustn't break Reagan's 11th commandment! Mustn't point out rank or fundamental groundedness in "more cowbell" Democrat-style governing -- you can only toot your own horn, pointing out flaws in your opponents is verboten! So we ONCE AGAIN all do the folk dance of "Circular Firing Squad!" and end up with Mr. Weak Sister.

Yet another reason to go third Second Party, I swear. Cruz is an answer to our prayers, plain as day, we have ONE CHANCE to do it right -- and man you are so right .... Groundhog Day!

Then again, Norm, maybe we'll be eating crow in November of 2016 when Cruz runs as the Republican presidential nominee. If we do, it'll be tasty.

But from my POV, it's all panning out exactly as it always has: "Celebrate diversity!!! Let's rejoice on all our candidates!" Instead of jealously guarding the process and saying, "Look, we already got the guy we need, stay out of it." As you say, this is war, political war but war nonetheless.

That’s a bird I hope to have served to me. I think he will win. But he will win DESPITE the gutless wonders and the ‘I know betters”. He and we must fight them more than democrats because while they mirror democrats, they are far worse. The enemy within.

I have no issue with crow. Sometimes I even like the taste. I had to chew a pretty tough bird when Palin chose not to run but I didn’t shy away from the meal. I ate it and made no excuses.

I have exactly ZERO problem doing it again Since I never claimed to have the perfect recipe to begin with. I just know that my recipe, which isn’t mine at all, but the one developed by the founders and perfected over 2 centuries always works when the right ingredients are used z\and you cook it at the right temp.

When people make substitutions like ‘lesser evil’ for ‘Principle” it never comes out right. Ever.
